Current WAR CRIMES Israel - * ICC issues warrants for Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu & Yoav Gallant & for Hamas's Mohammed Deif

The ICC has also issued a warrant for Hamas leader Mohammed Deif, who Israel says they have killed.

According to the ICC, the chamber “found reasonable grounds to believe” that Deif was “responsible for the crimes against humanity of murder; extermination; torture; and rape and other form of sexual violence; as well as the war crimes of murder, cruel treatment, torture; taking hostages; outrages upon personal dignity; and rape and other form of sexual violence”.

It also said there were reasonable grounds to believe the crimes against humanity were “part of a widespread and systematic attack directed by Hamas and other armed groups against the civilian population of Israel”.

For Netanyahu and Gallant, who was replaced as defence minister earlier this month, the chamber “found reasonable grounds to believe” that they “each bear criminal responsibility for the following crimes as co-perpetrators for committing the acts jointly with others: the war crime of starvation as a method of warfare; and the crimes against humanity of murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts”.

It also found reasonable grounds to believe that “each bear criminal responsibility as civilian superiors for the war crime of intentionally directing an attack against the civilian population”.

Protesting the UN? You can organise one if you feel so strongly about it.

Australian taxpayer money going to Gaza being used for terror purposes.

Seems those who protests don't have too much of a problem with it.

Australia also provided over half a billion in AUD to Syria since 2011.

I'm sure you can point me in the direction of all the protests against Assad at the mass murder / genocide / war crimes / crimes against humanity he has inflicted upon civilians up until he fled the place.

Key word there is pro Palestinian, not pro Hamas.

Why would anyone think it's ok to launch a pro Palestinian protest after Palestinians had just murdered nearly 1000 Jews in one of the worst single terror attacks humanity has ever seen conducted by Palestinians from Palestinian territory?

UN press release confirmed that UNRWA employees wee involved.

Reports & images of Sinwar being found with a UNRWA id card also.
A small number of UNRWA personnel are Hamas. That's no reason to cease aid to UNRWA the organisation. The State of Israel, our ally according to some, is committing genocide and ethnic cleansing. That's a good reason to cut business ties and formal government relations with Israel, and commit to BDS.

Obviously not upset by the murder of nearly 1000 Jewish civilians in one day.

Infact, the very next day after Oct 7 there were significant pro Palestinian protests.
Yes, there was absolutely zero outcry for Israel when Oct 07 happened.

Why try to rewrite history?

Again,

What did you do to organise a protest?

Israel is under genocidal attack by a coalition of 4 state actors trying to permanently erase Israel off the map for good. One of those actors is committing acts of mass extermination against Israeli civilians. Using sexual violence as a war crime against the civilian population of Israel.

If that's what you want than yes we should cut all ties with Israel.

With your known history of posting Jewish lobby conspiracy theories I can see why you would want this to be the case.

Australia was the first country to vote for the UN partition 1947 and recognising Israel's nationhood in 1949.

We're now partnered in national defence and cyber security. Israel also invests nearly four times the amount in Australia than Australia invests in Israel.

There's better ways than completing severing ties and trying to destroy the state.

Can we check the numbers, what percent of the ~ 30,000 UNRWA staff is 9?

I’ll even let you use the lesser ~ 13,000 UNRWA staff in Gaza.

If attempted genocidal attacks against Israel aren’t acceptable, then actual (likely will be officially found to be genocidal in future) attacks by Israel aren’t acceptable either.

What’s good for the goose, is good for the gander.

We really shouldn't be partnering and/or trading with a country that's facing ICC/ICJ charges for war crimes, genocide, apartheid etc.

The charges are against Netanyahu and Gallant , as of now there are no charges for genocide with no convictions.

Albo has also been referred to the ICC.

Yeah Albo, complicity in genocide.

Israel should have been sanctioned like apartheid South Africa many years ago.

So the head of government has an ICC arrest warrant for the crime against humanity of starvation against the entire population of Gaza, which is ongoing to this day, using the national military to enact it.

Not sure that’s a compelling argument.
