Hmm as much as I agree he does have some work to do on his skills, they are not amazing by any standards, he was most certainly not the worst on the ground today, and only weeks ago there was threads saying how he was progressing well.
I fully believe this thread was made out of anger and not exactly about Jordy.
I have faith in Jords abilities and I still honestly believe he will be an amazing asset to us in the next couple of years.
By the way, I do not listen to the commentators, they are usually completely off the mark. This has been commented on by many tigers fans throughout the year. If we are talking about decision making skills, then we can pretty much talk about our whole list. Not one of them made a good decision today, including Richo, Cotchin or Foley. This is not the place to talk about that anyway and even though I am bitterly dissapointed in our performance yesterday I do not think Jordy deserves a thread like this being posted, especially after the more recent threads made about how he is starting to make progress with the tigers.
Hehe I dunno pace, I just think we are on different sides of the fence on this one. I just think it will be a critical mistake to stop giving him chances, as he is easily still in our top 22.
I guess my opinion is based on a couple of very vital points, firstly we didn't need another flanker and think the back flank, in our side this season, should have been used to put game time, and a defensive side, into a posssible future on-baller. Thankfully Tambling has been finally sent there to find his feet.
Another point is we have struggled to have KP's for at least ten years and at the start of the season had a KP well into his 30's , Richo, another recovering from a knee, Thursty, and a unknown in-experienced, Moore, thankfully again, they've held pretty much up well above what anybody could have expected from them as a group.
Lastly, most players who join a new club have there best season first up and then tend to tail off, he in his first year and appears to have struggled to maintain his spot within a non-finals playing side.
