She’s not going to go somewhere to bat 5. Top 3 bat.
If she wants to improve her chances of playing at a higher level she will. I think she bats at 3 or 4 with Perry dropping down to 6.

She won’t go to bat lower than 3.

She’ll play for Australia this year anyway.

I think Litchfield would look good in Magenta, a nice replacement for Bolton next season.

Interesting call. I could see her wanting to stay loyal to the Thunder, but a move might not be a bad thing for her career.

Good chance to replace Haynes that left hander. They do like that left hander.
Probably go with Redmayne as a batter only, seeing as she has been closer to selection for longer or Carey who has been a semi regular for a few seasons. That would mean Gardner moves up a spot.

Not sure Carey is good enough. Redmayne should replace Lanning

If they are picking a lefthander to replace Haynes, surely, they would go with a right hander for Lanning. Someone like Georgia Voll or maybe bring back Perry.

Voll I agree with. Be between the two.

Just admit it, she needs to go to the Sixers if she wants to play for Australia.

She doesn’t. Needs to be batting in the top 3. She won’t go to the Sixers to bat 5 or whatever.

Am actually inclined to agree with you on this

It's been three years since Litchfield first played for Aus A, no maybe about it.

Since the WBBL started, 20 players have debuted for Australia. Each player's team at the time of selection below.

Thunder (5): Cheatle, Stalenberg, Vakarewa, Carey, Darlington
Renegades (4): Strano, Molineux, Vlaeminck, Wareham
Sixers (4): Aley, Gardner, Burns, Campbell
Strikers (3): McGrath, Wellington, Brown
Scorchers (2): Graham, King
Heat (1): Mooney
Stars (1): Sutherland
Hurricanes (0): nobody

And let us not forget Haynes' international career revival happened during her time at the Thunder.

Sixers 5/155, competitive, but probably 10-15 below par.

Perry finished a credible 69 from 58, but she was frustratingly slow early in her innings, if she can find a way to rotate the strike more in the first half of her innings, she would be a shoo-in for a return to the Australian T20 side, but as good as she has been this season for the Sixers there are will still be questions about where she sits in the Australian line up.

Scorchers were smart keeping the crab out there. Compare Perry’s innings to Mooney’s right now.

Yep, it is why Mooney is the number batter in the world and Perry was dropped from the Australian eleven.

Game has gone way past Perry. Burns and Gardner should be batting higher they are the two bats in top form.
