I agree there is something wrong with their level of bitterness. I think that many of their original supporters were just haters that chose Freo to go against the established majority because they love to fight and have conflict. 2 decades of failure has only magnified it and they are now obsessed.
I hope everyone asked a Freo supporter "r u ok" the other day.
I don't understand why the commentary talks as if players are above taking dives. They players will do anything to milk a free. They always have done. They're only 'hard'when there is no chance of a free kick.

They do that every week. A reputation for diving rarely sticks. The 'rancey dive' won'go into next year and nobody remembers the schofield incident anymore.

True this. Though I think a vast majority actually revel in their mediocrity. It makes them feel like a real supporter because they’ve stuck by them in the endless hard times.

I feel like in real life I can talk football and enjoy the banter with most Freo supporters, but like most things the internet brings out the worst in people.
Honestly I half expect them to start calling us 'Chad's' or something soon. Their echo chamber has gone full incel. They're so deluded.
Some of the crap they appear to believe in, is amazing. They genuinely seem to believe in an umpiring conspiracy.
Before venturing onto the Freo board the only umpire I knew by name was Razor. I now know all their names, but couldn't pick them out of a lineup.....perhaps a lineup of Ruckmen.
They've got deep background on all of them, their personal lives, charts and statistics.
They should be called the Alt-Spite. So salty and so crazy.
