I'm surprised he never toured after the enormous renewed 'success' of that song. Then again, people would only buy tickets as jokes, and would stay to hear him sing it once. The effect would probably wear off after 3 minutes. Not many would return after the interval.

I saw Evermore play a set once at the Australian Open, not long after their first single broke. They played "the hit" 10 minutes into the set...then again 15 mins later...then again in the encore maybe 20 mins later. Bless.

Stand up, sketch and radio comedy. I perform at the open mic nights, corporate gigs, and the Brisbane Comedy Festival, if anyone wants to come along next year. Sometimes as part of a group of 7 young comics, sometimes with another friend who I write and perform all sketches with, and occasionally on my own. Love radio the most though, I do that with the same friend as I do sketch comedy with.

Moved to the Redlands from Coffs Harbour at the age of 6, had always followed league. The closest sports club was the Redlands Sharks JAFC and I started playing Auskick when I was 7. The Brisbane Bears were the local AFL club so I jumped onboard and haven't looked back.

Michael Voss or Luke Power

Going to a Lions vs West Coast game on my birthday with my old man. Brisbane won by 100.

Tradition in my family is that you have to support a different team to your Dad. Makes for some interesting family BBQs when the uncles, dad and grandad (all different teams) get together. Also I'm a queenslander so the bears where always my 'second' team and then when they merged my fate was sealed.
5. Who is your favourite all time Fitzroy/Brisbane Bears/Brisbane Lions player?
Roger Merrett. I met him when I was about 5 and I was petrified. Then I met him again when I was 10 or so. Nice bloke.
6. What is your favourite footy memory?
I'm tempted to say one of the premierships, but I think I'll have to say my first game at the MCG. Blew my mind. Of course I was stuck in the middle of the Carlton cheer squad (grandads team) It was funny to hear them all cheering for Fev when only a few short years later he'd be 'playing' for us.

At a friend of the families place in front of (at the time) the biggest TV and sound system I'd ever seen. There were 5 true brisbane fans there, 3 collingwood mongrels and the rest were ABCers. The mongrels got thrown in the pool afterwards. They payed me back two years ago though.

Lester. Mids and forwards get all the gitz, glamour and brownlows but I'm a defender in most sports that I've played and we're the most humble, talented and good looking of the lot. (if I don't say so my self)
