I'm calling it. This team is not winning the flag in 2024.
So, pondering where we go from here.
We are losing because we can't kick goals, especially our forwards.
What I want is a team focus on correcting that. I want to see our players get back to being hell accurate and hell confident. Joe and hippy were awesome last year, this year they suck.
Come back in 2025 after our well earn'tlong off season with our confidence in the basics rebuilt.

Couldn't resist..Nothing less than the premiership cup will suffice after last night's triumph. With GWS & Hawthorn out of the race, our two bugaboo opponents in recent times, I reckon we go all the way this season
Btw, is there a get together at Brunswick St oval tomorrow or what? It'll be going off at the Derby from 1pm I heard..

Joe Daniher to go around again. I’m not ready for him not to be there.
Winning any flag is special but man, this one just hits different.
How many records did we break to take this thing out?
Yet, we were in the window when it counted this year. The thing is, even if we have a flag hang over next year, and no doubt we will, we will know we can come from the back fence again to take it all out. The belief in this side will be hard to cap now.

- Gone in two of our finals only to come back and take it out
- Losing grand finalists from the year before

#9: Ashcroft's goal in the Grand Final
#8: Hipwood's goal in the Grand Final
#7: McCluggage's double effort to clear defence late in the 2nd quarter v Bulldogs in Round 13, leading to a Morris mark and a Hipwood goal
#6: Lohmann's smother at CHB before marking and goaling in the last quarter v West Coast in Round 18
#5: McCluggage's winning goal v Melbourne in Round 16
#4: Ah Chee's winning goal v Sydney in Round 19
#3: Rayner's 2nd goal in the Prelim
#2: Joe's 2 last quarter goals in the Semi Final
#1: Ah Chee's 4th goal in the Grand Final

And any dickhead in the media whoever doubted Joe’s value to the team over the past few years should watch that video on repeat until it sinks in.

I'd put Payne's run down tackle in the Geelong game in my top ten list. And i want to add Oscar's team building as a top ten play. It most certainly impacted on results.
And Joe's 1 on one in the Giants game.
