Can't say I've ever closely observed this guy on the footy field (these days I don't watch a helluva lot of non-Freo footy during the season proper). But I am struggling to reconcile the negative view of him here with the fact that he was in Ken Hinkley's best 23 quite a bit last year.

Narkle is great depth, I wouldn't play him every week, but he's a good guy to have in case some of our smalls aren't performing, plus it makes Bolton happy, might help lure Pickett over too. Either way, he'll succeed with us.

I've always enjoyed watching Narkle play. Stoked to have him at Freo.
Some do, I don't know why but most players seem to know more about Dockerland than BF... which is utterly baffling. Even Duffield has referenced Dockerland (surely he knows about us!!)
The families definitely get across BF. I got harassed by the immediate family member of an ex-assistant coach I was overly critical of on here for a while..

Low risk pick-up, not expecting much but I don’t mind it. Experienced depth, good sub option, got an open wing if he’s up for it. Hopefully the catalyst for the Kozzie trade next year.

1 goal a game is not enough from a forward that doesn't offer much else.

I’ll be interested to see where he plays at Peel, I’m sure he’s depth but I’m not sure what role they would have in mind.

mid/half forward youd imagine. every time ive seen him play, which isnt in depth admittedly, hes done some tidy stuff, and i expect that sort of role would be his best bet into the AFL team
