I can see him playing as the high half forward type.Um, I though we were after a small forward
I do see Steele Sidebottom traits & as a forward, I'd mention Gryan Miers.
This could be a very good get.

Just wish him and his family seemed happier, they straight up seemed flat which is a bit worrying.
Need someone smart to explain this one pls.
I have slight PTSD from people saying the same about Erasmus, who has shown all the fwd nous of Alex Pearce to date. This guy is not just a mid, recruiters think he will be more of a half forward because of his size. Saw one comparison as Gryan Myers and I think thats a good comparison for what he will look like at AFL level, at least initially. Has Sheezel like creativity. Classy ball users in our front half is 100% a need
Yep agreed, he was fine, Richmond supporter and they passed him over which was undoubtedly disappointing. His dad was a hoot and it was interesting that he had already been to our facilities. Would be looking at the forward line and then midfield.I dunno, flat isn't how I would characterise this interview. Was about to post the opposite - that his old man seems genuinely happy for him and totally up for spending time in Perth. Not the usual concocted interview.
I'd say about three quarters of non-KPPs with anything about them play midfield at some point in their draft year. The best players play midfield because that's where they can impact the game most. Doesn't mean that's where they'll end up.Disappointing overall. Not because this kid won't be good, but it's not a need

I was waiting for this one scrolling thru lolHey guys.
Ollie Murphy Reid.
Easy. Best available player.Need someone smart to explain this one pls.
Yep you are spot on, even Nick Watson wasn't playing permanent small forward when he was playing Coates league. Same reason barely any draftee's play wing but get molded into one at AFL level. Reid has the traits to be an elite half forwardI'd say about three quarters of non-KPPs with anything about them play midfield at some point in their draft year.
