Seriously could have had about 7. Brayshaw could have given him the hands in his early goal and he was burnt by team mates a few other times, including Sharpe bizarrely when he had 4 in the quarter

Idk if he is known for his ball winning though. I think he is more of a Daicos type player where he creates scores and hits the scoreboard. If he adds contested ball winning to his repertoire the league will be in trouble.

I believe he averaged somewhere between 25 and 28 touches a game

I mean contested wise. He is going to be a gun no matter what but if he can become a contested beast similar to Neale he will be a force of nature.

Was pretty shocked he slid as far as he did in the draft, just oozes class and composure. Sure he looked gassed towards the end, just keep playing the kid and it’ll pay dividends.

That ability to go on a run isn't to be underestimated, was sharp with received hands on a few other occasions too

2 take-aways for me from Bruce's game.

1. Players that can single handedly swing a game in a 10 minute burst are worth their weight in gold.
2. The awareness to miss the shot from the angle, find himself in a similar position a few minutes later, and rather than trying again and hoping for the best - he found a way to improve the angle/distance and nail the shot is just incredible footy smarts, on the occasion of his first game too.
