I don't think a brother-brother could have babies. On the other hand, a brother-sister baby may have some more unique attributes

After doing some extensive research on brother/sister babies phenomena by watching documentaries like "Wrong Turn" and "The Hills Have Eyes" I don't think they'd be worth drafting. The suspensions they're sure to rack up alone will greatly limit their playtime.

It's great they have such a good relationship as well. I love my big sister to bits but I'd have no hesitancy in trying to avoid going to the same AFL club as her.

Quick update on Noddy for those interested. Caught up with the same mate this morning who played at WP that I mentioned in the Heath Chapman thread. He had a young fella with him who played colts for them and had matched up on him O’Driscoll in colts. He reiterated everything I mentioned in the Chappy post about Heath but had some things in Nathan as well.

He played on N’OD in colts and was not a huge fan...but for good reason...it’s because he got his arse kicked by him each time they played.

Said he’s very tough, has a large mean streak and enjoys the physical side. When they played he was told to be extra physical on him as they doubted he’d handle the attention but it backfired hugely as Nathan went up a level and dominated even more.

He said Nathan didn’t seem straight line quick but was always first to the contest. Overall opponent assessment - he’s smart and tough with really good skills. So happy with that.

Apparently he’s pretty quiet out on the field but does drop the odd quiet sledge in the ear. He didn’t hear it himself but apparently one of his teammates who was sledging and harassing him was told by our néw boy “I’ll be taking on Dangerfield soon mate, if you think you can phase me you’re an idiot”.

No idea if true, actually doesn’t sound like him to be honest from the little I’ve seen, but I hope it is.

He’s gonna have to do a few more weights to take on Danger, but I like his attitude

God, that’s a cringe comeback

I actually kind of like that.

Needs to be a brother-brother, brother-sister, sister-sister and brother&sister-brother/sister rule...

Very easy to manipulate that rule.

Some random hack player would for sure get drafted to allow easy access to the superstar sibling that’s coming years later.

Not if it requires a games played. No one would do this and play a spud for 150 games to get their star sibling.

Yeah, of course.

I clearly didn’t think it through, they would have to do something like that. Which kinda makes it really pointless as siblings would only typically have a small Age difference making it hard to accrue the needed games prior to a draft year.

This is why I can't wrap my head around 10 touches at half back in a team that won by 100. I know he is coming back from injury but...

If I took all the proper nouns out you'd think It was talking about Dangerfield.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He led the competition in ground ball gets per game (13.6), while also averaging the second most contested possessions (16.3 per game), the second most tackles (7.9 per game) and the third most clearances (7.8 per game).

His bottom-age year was capped off with selection for Western Australia in the U18 Championships, playing three of a possible four games as WA went on to win the championship.

An ankle injury and the Covid break meant an interrupted start to O’Driscoll's 2020 season, but he still performed well enough upon his return to progress from the colts through to the league side, keeping his place in the side for Perth's finals campaign, playing through the midfield and on a wing.

O’Driscoll is a very impressive athlete and this was evident at the WA state combine, where he recorded 2.93 seconds for the 20m sprint, 8.12 for the agility test and 6:23 for the 2km time trial.

The 18-year-old combines these athletic attributes with an almost unparalleled in-game work-rate, impressive ability overhead and has intent to tackle and pressure.

Yep, he's an enigma that's for sure.

Rated first round by a lot on Bigfooty but Twoomey wasn't impressed, it seems that we reached a fair bit for him in the end and he's so far (whilst still very early days) playing to that draft position.

I've seen him only twice live, once for Perth and once for Peel and he was extremely underwhelming in both games. I guess the review above doesn't mention footy nouse or foot skills. Seems to have everything else though.

I think he will end up being a good player for Freo however, I just wished we had grabbed Shannon Neale at the time instead for list balance. He went about 4 picks later.

A lot of talk about Neale but he’s done nothing to warrant the hype yet either. He didn’t even play league or anything in his draft year. The word last year was that Kalin Lane was well ahead of him as a ruck if there had been a state team too.

Young guy coming off shoulder surgery. Playing off half back is just protection.
couple of weeks to build strength and confidence, and he’ll be back in the middle
