While some people actually have studied sports science, the university degree, not what they picked up from wikipedia, you haven't. Why some people (my own son for example) can be in their final year of their degree at 17, your past form suggests this isn't the case for you. School isn't a institution based on which you can say "I have also done (insert massive scientific field here)". Many of my honours students and PhD students acknowledge just how much their is to learn in their fields and here you are having done something. Seriously strange hill to die on.

If he was crapping on someone else's actual expertise without the possibility of having any of his own I would. He actually told someone in the field of sports science they were wrong on the basis that he'd "done" sports science and lifted.

Oh my, I even mentioned that I should’ve worded it better, it was nothing about shutting down his expertise, he tried to use his expertise as a higher value to say that I was wrong, but that doesn’t matter does it? Do you want me to wait a couple years once I’ve done mine

I do believe I should’ve worded it better, as someone mentioned, everyone else does, needs to be more a neutral thing where you’re sharing your opinion, not sharing and shutting others down.

Completely agree and thank you for saying it @ Flukey. @ Dominic, while I am not an avid reader on this website, it is clear you are a passionate and knowledgeable footy fan and I think you bring a lot to the discussion (I also rarelysee you post anything that is in any way disparaging of others), don't let the middle aged men drive you out and make this into an echo chamber. Your opinion is just as valid as anyone elses on an internet forum.

And for those wondering I am a middle aged man with multiple post graduate qualifications (including adolescent psych) but I don't think that gives me any more right than anyone else on this site to put forward an opinion.

The maligned and forgotten man… the last time Worpel had a midfield free of Tom he was pretty dam good.

A lot of faith he can turn it around and Sam has just put this in him + he has some kids now ready to take his spot if he doesn’t.

A team without competition for spots is basically north
