That’s the beauty of player movement. Conversely, Calsher wouldn’t be getting a game the dogs, and probably not Collingwood or Richmond. But we’re loving his input. Great to see the way that different players can plug in in different contexts.
Gets a game at the latter two who have poor KPF.

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think Bramble is playing much better footy at the Dogs, nor do I think he was playing terrible football here.

I think Bramble is a player who can be exposed when a side is under pressure like we were last year, and he looks a lot better when a team is running free and playing good football like the Dogs have been in the latter half of this year. Honestly I remember watching the dogs halfway through this season when they were playing a bit more shaky footy and thought he looked very vulnerable.

Glad he's notched himself a spot in their side but must admit I don't think he's unlocked anything new.

Yeh good summary!
I think at the hawks we tried to make him a key playmaker (similar to what we're doing with Dambrosio/Amon) and it was just outside his wheelhouse.

Bulldogs meeting him where he's at and it's working out for both of them. Happy about that.

7th in Bulldogs Bnf 2024. Duryea 10th
Solid result from Lachie there.

I'm glad he's kicking on at the Doggies, he's definitely good enough to be a solid AFL footballer when he plays to his strengths.

And bloody hell hasn't Duryea been a resilient AFL player. I'll never forget that elimination final over in WA all those years ago when he played the game of his life.

Yeah good on him. Doing well for them!

Just found it odd when there were articles out this season about how good he's been and how strange it was we let him go.

Yes, I'm not sure his kicking was anywhere near as good as those two, when he ran it out of defence at times he reminded me a bit of Saad but he's not at the same level defensively. I think he was more up against Impey who is simply tougher and better in the air.

If you're the small defender who's a bit iffy defensively you want to be a great kick like Amon.

I always thought he had some good traits for a supplementary pick up, glad he's done well at the Dogs.
