The colonel has a lot of weapons in his arsenal. His inside work is top notch, but don't underestimate him around the ground. Good mark, enough pace to burn opponents, can roost the ball, and his vision and delivery is very good.

I can't remember where but Milesi mentioned that his school footy side wasn't great so he had to deal with a tag/being double teamed a lot and still performed welll. Being able to handle that amount of pressure is another tick for him.

Have spoken to a mate who's brother played against Ryley and he has said this kid will be a superstar and the best talent's we've picked in a long time and expects him to play every game and take out rising star

So no pressure then?
Or Smiley Boy do you have inside info on 2024 RS voting too?! 😆

Im sold - now we just have to keep him long term

Should read "Bulldogs legend Jake Stringer".
‘Legend’ as in myth, is probably correct. He was very mercurial with incredible ‘get out of tackle’ strength. And a goal kicking freak on occasions. With a couple of all-time memorable moments for our club.
But definitely not a ‘legend’ with consistency, reliability, durability and general ‘good bloke/teammate’ characteristics.
