Even though you have managed to let 2 entire states down tonight (I've never seen Vics so behind an interstate club!), congratulations on the year and the game.

After all, you went down by just 5 points in 29c heat, interstate and against a top 4 side. Don't let yourselves cave in to the inevitable trolls and get negative, the Crows were hard, attacking and this was probably the best final so far this year. You've had a great season and have plenty to look forward to in 2010. Just a smidgin' of luck and who knows?

Thank you Dogbowl and well said. Collingwood played thier guts out tonight and we played a shocker and it was only 5 points in it! The next few years look great! :thumbsu:

Yep, spot on. I don't think you played a shocker, just inconsistent between quarters.

bad luck guys, you were a fantastic opponent tonight.

I thought we were toast at both quarter and half time and your Vince looks like a future brownlow medalist.

Final quarter looked like we were done for when you guys kicked the first couple, but we managed somehow to claw our way back.

I reckon you guys should be pretty proud of your club as you are always around the mark and it surprised me as I thought you were going to have a lean year this time around.

Probably not much consolation after having your heart ripped out tonight but you'd be close to a good thing for next year's flag I reckon. I was so sick of hearing from Walls that Collingwood were brave. Pretty sure that was at their home ground again tonight and you were a man down. Yet to meet a neutral who wasn't barracking for the Crows tonight.

Thanks everyone, means a lot to know we had a lot of support there :)

Pies did superbly to catch up to us in that 3rd q... just a shame we fell apart!

What can I say? It was a game that made for exciting viewing, exactly how finals should be. I think Crows fans have got a lot to look forward to next year.

They let the whole country down. I was gutted when the Pies got up and I've got no great fondness for the Crows.

Gee, thanks :p. make the players feel worse! not only do they have to face letting their supporters down, but almost every other teams supporters too! haha.
I still love the boys - they played well, showed all those people who said we were going to finish bottom 4 :thumbsu:
But now next year the pressure comes on...no doubt we'll be tipped to finish top 8 (and probably top 4) and hopefully we'll prove them all right and go a few better next year :D

I love the way the crows go about it. fast, attacking, risk-taking football. unlucky not to put them away in the first half. would have won with knights playing

Just like to add my congrats for such a good game. I was going for you guys as if it were Sydney. With such a young side and so much potential you will be serious contenders next year and for a while to come. When Sydney lost our final all those years before our premiership it was shattering but look what happened...
Their should be alot of pride on this board for the achievements of your club. I have no doubts you'll win a flag so goodluck for next year

That's it in a nutshell.

The Knights injury pretty much cost us the game. On a 30 degree night, being one player down (and a key goal-scorer, at that) was a massive disadvantage.

We can go on forever about this or that mistake, or this or that missed goal, or this or that free kick, but the Knights loss was the key.

The Footy Goods continue to give us brown-eyes in finals!!

The crows seemed almost kamikaze at times with their ball movement. It was lovely to watch.
It was a hell of a good game. Just a terrible result.
The top 4 teams in the prelims. Guess it all comes out in the wash.

That was unacceptable seeing a Crows team quit once again!

Third quarter unacceptable... totally unacceptable.

I'm not sure if we will learn from this in the future if this is going to happen every year. Mentally this team could beat itself up.... I hope not. I don't want to see a repeat of 2007 thankyou.
