There is no doubt in my mind that Luke Hodge played his best game of 09 on sunday ( i was in the wilderness of the hunter last week, and so missed the swans match). He hit the contests hard, won the hard ball, and was able to curb JB for a decent period. The rest has done him the world of good, and it's great to see him back playing his imposing physical style. Although us hawks fans will time after time have to go to the bay or the main board and see the crap about hodge playing loose or without opponent, deep down they all know what we do. That his mix of physicality and skill is unmatched by ANYONE. LH was born to play AFL footy, and he was one of our best yesterday without a doubt. well played.

Still reckon Hodgey is hampered by injury.

Hodge is my favourite Hawthorn player.
I will call it as I see it tho.

Hodge is over weight and has a pot belly.

If he has a major injury that is preventing him from training or running then someone should tell us.

If the club doesnt want to be seen to make excuses get a past player like Crawf or Thommo to release it to the media.
