Apparently this club is one of the most proffesional clubs in the AFL. That's a bit of a laugh considering they had a chance to draft Palmer over Masten but chose the latter, due to a family connection.
The mantra of picking the best available talent was cast aside and a "member of the family" was upped. Shambles
This club will be in a hole for a long time. The man at the helm is putting in a shocker, not far behind is the mute skipper.
Perhaps the WAFC should do a thorough investigation into this disgrace of a club.
Freo are the Flagship of the West
all i can say is... OH MY GOD are you a *****? the dockers have been the biggest dissapointment/disgrace in afl history!(exept maybe st kilda).
atleast eagles werent tipped to do well this year, unlike freo who were 3rd favourite to win the flag this year. A dockers fan calling the eagles a disgrace? a dockers fan whos team has made a feeble 2 finals series compared to west coast who has missed only 3 and has the best win loss record than any other team in the afl since there birth? u are a joke.

WCE were indeed tipped by many "experts" to make the 8, indeed the 4, this year.
And many, many, many BigFooty WCE posters freely stated that the loss of a couple of players would be nothing but a small speed bump on your "inevitable" run to the '08 flag.
That's the problem with you lot.....you just assume that because you are the Eagles, it is "inevitable" that you will succeed.
Suckup the pain bitches.

What a garbage post. I simply deleted a few words and reading between the lines I think you were referring to Fremantle. Everything fits. Fremantle are an embarrassing rabble, with an ageing list and an ill-disciplined side. Best thing they could do is get the PP this year and next year to inject some much needed youth into the squad. Fremantle are yet to play West Coast. Assuming they will win as West Coast are a pathetic joke at this time, Freo fans should hope they don't relinquish the vital PP.
