Possibly, but at a minimum the best 5 seasons by an WA club belong to West Coast. I'd argue that probably the best 10 seasons by a WA club belong to West Coast.

I would agree on that point, to qualify for the finals with less then a 50% record is pretty poor and Brisbane got lucky that year. Similarly you can argue Freo were unlucky to miss after getting to 11 games but that's the luck of the season i spose.

Spartan's claim that the top 8-9 season from a WA club is all West Coast is obviously false as Freo's prelim puts them in there. However it would go close to being Freo's only entry in the top 10
