Yes drop 4 of the older or suspect players back to WAFL, reward form and inflate the fortunes of the Beagles. Make at least the WAFL a development pathway at this point in time.

Reid is a massive chance to debut any round now given his height and our love of it.

He’s a tall lanky forward who can pinch hit in the ruck. Maybe he’ll be the sub next week.

I really hope he's not
Actually feel like our WAFL team is a bigger and more urgent problem than our senior team at the moment. When you have no semblance of competitiveness at reserves level you can't develop young players. And you can't put any meaningful pressure on those in the seniors.

If we did drop some of our more experienced players such as Darling, Jones, Witherden etc. back to the WAFL, that should make WAFL team more competitive.
Those players would be trying hard to get their spots back in the AFL side and you'd think that having them around should lead to better development for the younger players in the WAFL team.

Not sure if correct but the commentators mentioned that Mercer with 30 odd games had played the most at the beagles in that team.

A: More WAFL players like they were once themselves.
Why would you send Ginbey back to play in that competition.
The club would be better off disbanding the WAFL team and
placing the young players amongst several of the clubs.
The dockers alignment with Peel seems to be working well
for both teams. Why do we need to have our own reserves side.
