Teams are beating the door down to speak to him obviously… can bring hippie club sponsorship

The two clubs you supposedly support got in a tug of war over Hamish Brayshaw, but yeah I’m sure no one would be interested in 102 game player Jackson Nelson.

Tweet isn’t related to the WAFL side as such but it wonder what Hamish is up to. Seems he has some sort of off field role at the club judging by the tweet and signed at East Perth when it looked like we weren’t going to have a WAFL side

Wonder if he’s still contracted there and if not, whether we’d be able to bring him back to the Beagles

He’d be good to have around the draftees

He is the mids coach for the Womens team.

That’s what I get for not following the womens team closely enough - wasn’t aware of that

Still would be good if we could get him back for the Beagles

Came second in the Sandover i think? Also won the BnF at Ep so he is a very good WAFL player that would make us somewhat more competitive.

Wonder what other concessions we are getting?

There goes the idea of improving the wafl side…

Well done however for them to sign this giant of the game who they obviously had to beat 17 afl clubs off signing him as a delisted free agent or drafting him in November as some here believed he had some afl future and was worthwhile wasting 8 seasons on a list for…at least he will still have Waterman and Rotham to keep him company.

It's the WAFL, what are you expecting exactly? Patrick Cripps, Marcus Bontempelli and Lachie Neale to be head hunted to come play for the Beagles?

He knows the club, coaches and players and will offer a good bridge between the senior side and those playing in the lower league. Nelson should be a solid WAFL player and is better than the ammos we were calling on last year.

I know you have a bee in your bonnet about 99% of things associated with the club, but set some realistic expectations.

If Nelson can play half as consistently as you can post miserable shit, he’ll win a Sandover.

Anyone who complains about Jacko signing can * right off.

Love the fella. Great signing.

Wish we got Reddo for the Beagles as well, although fair enough he’s gone back to join his brothers in SA. It is odd how we never get retiring players for the WAFL side (eg Schoey, Masto). Even Brayshaw works at the Eagles and plays for East Perth.

Brayshaw was Beagles captain but signed with East Perth when our WAFL team was shitcanned. Then we got brought back at the eve of the season so it was too late.

So so easy…
To be honest couldn’t give a continental about the wafl side.. may they long keep being the bye for the other 8 sides and one of the few games east perth has a chance of wining each year.

I don’t care about the results too much but just don’t the team to get flogged by 100pts every week. How are young players (especially if we draft a key forward) going to develop in that environment? Ideal would be for the beagles to be a middling team each year.

Anyone really hyped about the prospect of

Gibney + Hewitt + Chesser playing all 18 straight games in the wafl in the centre. I'm juiced thinking about it. As well Culley playing far chunk
