Too bad you don't get a stat for ignored leads (aka creating space). Dawes would actually be the best at something football related instead of the worst for once.

uhhh... 10 months longer than you. Anyways, I'm just having a dig.

Glad to see Collingwood off to a strong start and the Cox/Nic Nat combo not causing devastation yet.

No I meant not knowing what West Coast match-day threads tend to devolve into. It's the same thing ad nauseum.

Paraphrase: Ignore all the crap stuff my team does, just focus on the positive!

Ok then.

Shuey - Shoulder shrug. One of the best in the competition at it but every team in the competition has a couple that do it. Blair, Didak etc. Don't see the point in discussing it when it has been done to death and i'm arguing with hypocrites.

Selwood - Gets judged because he is a Selwood.

Free kicks - Typical Bigfooty really. Ever since the coaches have come out and complained the umpiring has been anything but favouring us. No point arguing with people that don't watch footy and just jump on the bandwagon.

Crowd booing - Your a Collingwood supporter. I am sure you would understand that every crowd does this. If you don't believe it then you only have to watch a replay of the Sydney v Hawthorn match (there was no talk of it in their matchday thread). Again, no point debating with bandwagoners.

Still don't know who to barrack for in this game.

I hate West Coast, especially when they play at home in front of their one eyed booing fans, but I also hate Collingwood with a passion.

If only there could be two losers.
Draw?

Darcy: "I thought that rule [kicking in danger] didn't exist."

Isn't this flog on the Rules committee?

15.4.5 Prohibited contact and Payment of free kick
A field Umpire shall award a Free Kick against a Player where
they are satisfied that the Player has made Prohibited Contact
with an opposition Player.

theres a difference between a shoulder shrug (throwing the tacklers arms clean over your head, basically thowing off a tackler and what shuey does. Shuey grabs the tacklers arm, chucks the arm up and wedges the arm between his shoulder and head.
Like the ducking of the head rule, he's initiating the contact. should be play on for mine.
