Predictions for the B&F tonight?

First time in a while that it’s not blindingly obvious who will win. Swanson might win another one but she’s got some competition this time. Thomas, Roberts, McDonald and Smith would all have a chance.

Thomas - Our best player IMO and its not even close.

Swanson
Smith
Roberts
McDonald

I missed a game so cant comment on all games played, however this is my ranking of the B&F order.

That said I would not be surprised if Swanson gets it again, as they may reward disposals, purely by number, rather than effectiveness.

Is it fair to say those two are the two key pillars for the club to build around going forward?
Exactly what I was saying to my two just the other day

I was hoping for a much better year from 'Pipes' Lewis. Finished the year better than she started but I thought she might take over this season.
I was thinking this in the crows game. Wonder how much impact the game plan and coaching has had on her form. When they let the players play more naturally end of year she lifted heaps.

From rookie to club champion in two years is crazy impressive. If a few more players from our next several drafts can improve that fast, we could be in finals much faster than I'd thought.

Got dangerous in the forward half too. Could be a string to her bow that we look to use more in the future. Such a wasted season with Prior at the helm.

Fish, O'Hehir and Wright firming up as top three picks in next year's draft.

Been told by someone who knows her, that Fish plans to nominate for the National Pool, as she doesn’t want to play in WA.

So unlikely that we get her.

Smart girl.

Get out of WA asap.

Disappointing but not surprising. Also, a certain percentage of WA kids want to get out, footballers or not, so it's not necessarily a reflection on the clubs here. Of course, we might still be in a position to get her depending on where we pick nationally, but if she's said specifically she doesn't want to be here, I doubt we would.

Looks like she'd be up against Ash Centra (Vic) for top national pick that year. So maybe GWS, maybe Carlton... I can't see the Bulldogs staying down next year, but who knows? Certainly won't be Port, not with the draft they're about to have.
