Bringing over two young Victorian girls together in the first year the draft has gone national also makes some sense in terms of getting them settled in

Happy with both these picks, they bring footballing attributes that we are sorely in need of .

Well done recruiters.

I think the Daisy effect will be huge in retaining interstate talent, especially from Victoria. And the fact that so many of our talented players are do young will be very cohesive for the new girls coming in.

Tilly is Aisling McCarthy from wish. Finished the WAFLW season really well - big hard body.

Stoked she’s been given another opportunity- but I do worry about the concussions.

According to Eliza Reilly Segeant is out camping. From the article I linked to before

Former Docker Matilda Sergeant has had interest from Carlton after a strong WAFLW season. Sergeant was delisted by Fremantle due to ongoing injury concerns, despite being a respected leader and teammate. But the 24-year-old returned to fitness and played 13 games for Claremont, averaging 19.9 disposals.

Sergeant has also met with West Coast but it’s set to be an extra anxious wait on draft night as she’ll be away on a camping trip and out of range when it’s unfolding.

Very good haul, two young mids and a tall that would have gone top 10 had she not restricted her nomination to WA only.

The last but not least, Sergeant is an experienced player that can play day one in the midfield, nice pick up and we might just have picked Fremantle's pocket there as there was talk of them redrafting her.
She had a very good season in 2023 with Claremont, both impactful and very consistent.

I am happy with that draft haul.

Wasn't she just delisted from a struggling Freo side?

And we still have zero small forwards.

You obsession with a small forward, is clouding your perspective of talent verses perceived positional need.

You might just want to get up to speed with her 2023 WAFLW season, before bagging her out.

No point having forward of any size, if you don't have quality players to kick it to them,
