Scratch matches have started yet the games start on the 3rd of May.
Should be a fairly even season for majority of the teams apart from Trinity, who are streets ahead, however that is only a prediction

Dont happen to be from trinity do we mate?
I recall you badges making the same statement last year, but then losing to the might of Aquinas.

Id say Aquinas have to go in as equal favourites with Trinity.

No im not from Trinity. Im from a different school with a much less biased opinion.
Trinity have all their State 16s boys for majority of the year.
Last year they were missing many key players because of State.

Im not taking the mickey out of Aquinas, they were very good last year.
But im favouring Trinity this season.

Can you let us know the results to any games you watch please ?

mitch carter still does have the best skills in the wafl colts competition.
his little brother adam is year 10 at wesley this year snared a few against guildford first game for wesley if my sources are correct. adam is an all australian cricketer and is one of the most talented junior footballers i have ever seen. has the skills of his brother at the same age but is a very different player. much more attacking.

players on the radar for this psa to my knowledge primarily come from trinity aquinas and hale. wesley scotch ggs and ccgs have a few players here and there but not too many year 12s worth writing about.

casey york of wesley was a state schoolboys and state 16s footballer who should excel from wesley. kane gatty dominant ruckman and adam carter will be an outstanding talent to see develop.

trinity have conca, murray, holmes, ferris and fasolo who really should dominate the competition through the midfield, with bormolini and mcdonald (both wa academy) in the ruck to form a formidable midfield setup. dobson at chf will be one of the standout key position players of the competition. trinity are easily the team to beat.

hale have the likes of bradshaw, evans, williams, taylor and some others, no real standouts just a very solid team all around. lots of good players who should dominate this year and then move into colts next year.

aquinas has midfield full of ball magnets and a strong group of year 11s. edwardes, monaco, thompson and hancock past state players and should dominate. two sensational footballers are the mooney brothers, michael and kieran who are both just outstanding athletes. lavell-lee, dykes, mooney and brindle (all year 11) were in or close to last years state 15s side and should be some of the most promising youngsters in the psa comp.

gerard ugle (year 11), corey adamson, justin eames are guildfords main players to watch.

rawlinson christ church's go to man.

scotch only have strickland worth a mention.

should be a competition

trinity to win in front of hale and ac

others will not even be competitive.

I watched a couple of Scotch games (I'm a Scotch old boy) was pretty average team (2 wins for the yr) however one player who stood out for me was #3 Tommy Lee. Big tall lanky boy with simply brilliant hands, very large armspan (the amount of times you would see a great big pair of arms tower over everyone elses and take an almost uncontested mark is ridiculous!) and very large motor, alternated between ff, chf and ruck and didn't stop running all day. Was talking to some of the parents and apparently he's had a meeting with the Crows, so maybe someone to look out for in the future...

I hate to beat my own drum but...:)

im gonna take a punt and say your a wesley boy aha
casey york had barely any effect in either state tours and can play a bit but is nothing special and will probrably do his hammy anyway.
gatty is not a big dominante ruckman.

pretty sure ferris left trinity at the end of year 10 which shows how much you know....
fasolo, dobson, conca are the standouts for me.

hale are decent side with no standouts, but did notice tom mitchel who has come over from victoria and definently can play football..

hancock wins alot of ball for aquinas, brindle plays 2's. and michael mooney is injured. new player zac collinson and lavell lee definente standouts of the year 11's including monaco of course. hancock and johns at chf are the standouts of year 12's for me.

scotch are hacks.
guilford are hacks.
christchurch played a good game against aquinas today i beleive only going down by 2 or 3 goals.

but anyway good luck to wesley i guess, i guess gatty could turn into the next buddy to come out of wesley.......

Casey York = BOG versus Guildford in round one. 3 goals and 30+ disposals. is well over his hammy injury.

add Frank Ansey??? (i think thats his last name) to the christchurch list... didnt play too bad for ccgs today...

thankyou to neng for that
dont go to wesley and never went there
out of school
didnt know ferris personally just know that he was a schoolboys rep while at trinity, didnt see him in the 1s last year just assumed he fell by the wayside in a strong firsts team in the game or two that i saw. got told by a mate he left ages ago from trinity after i wrote this and hes fallen off the footy radar.
and i know michael mooneys injured with o.p. should make a recovery before the end of the season.
i didnt say anything about how york performed on tours i just said he played. hes still a good player irrespective of how he performed over there, and psa is a step down from state footy anyway.
gatty still play as a kpp this year? whos going to ruck? was pretty good in the ruck when i played against him when he made state schoolboys.
wasnt sure whether brindle would get a game when i wrote it. watched him in east freo under age carnivals, can play. didnt miss out by much from state schoolboys if i remember correctly.
im on the trinity bandwagon mate dont worry about dub c.
so where are you affiliated? my guess is ac?

thankyou to neng for that
im on the trinity bandwagon mate dont worry about dub c.

well obviously you are from wesley if you write dub c. cos nobody except the ******s who go to wesley call it dub c.

Michael Edwards made his comeback for aquinas this weekend after a shoulder injury and seemed to look very rusty, maybe he should have came back through the 2's.

On the topic of the aquinas 2's word has it that pat keeffe (former state 15s train on) had a great second half and may push to be included in training with the 1s this week

fair enough about york, but will be interesting too see how he goes against tougher teams.

i have not seen or played against brindle but have heard from friends at ac he is nothing too special.

i actually dont goto school anymore but i will admit i have a slight affliation with aquinas!

i agree about trinity college being the team too beat but anyone in their right mind would agree on that..

if theres any tc boys on here can anyone confirm if it is true dobson has a hairline fracture in his leg or foot and may miss a bit of footy?

i did watch the aquinas v christchurch game on saturday and ansey did stand out at CHB racking up alot of marks from the poor kicking of AC.

and fasolo kicked 7 i beleive???
amazing

i actually have no real affiliation with wesley haha dubc is easier to write than wesley. i have wesley mates i got dubc from them dont have any that go there any more. and no bias towards their sports teams.

Correct me if i'm wrong but pretty sure that is an affilitaion.

This should be on the school footy board.
hi everyone im knew to bigfooty...coupla old school mates told me about it
TC LEAVER
its bloody hard to work but i think im getting the hang of this posts and threads thing!
i do agree with footyman
talking up players from there schools and bagging the other schools!
cant wait to see some more posts!

TC smashed Guilford without there state players + matt hunt who is all class. 2 gun year 10s played for TC heard they went okay with dom radecki kicking 3 and trent bradshaw ( younger cousin and much better footballer of jack from hale) playing a decent game also.

Wesley lost..... poor effort.

I would say hale owned scotch but not sure....

Aquinas had a bye

number 3 from CCGS is a gun.

wafootypsa I've been reading all your posts in this forum and i have never seen you bag an aquinas player! its always the wesley hale scotch and ccgs players! must be a bit of bias in these comments and maybe you just love bagging these other schools players!
this should be used as motivation for the aquinas players!
start talking some sense wafootypsa
anyone agree with me?

Scores would be good :)

Juda, what are you on about? How can not bagging Aquinas players be motivation for Aquinas players?
You idiot!
