Heard from a reliable source on sunday that Hamilton have looked local (mininiera fl - Penshurst) for there 2010 coach !?....and it's not either of the Ewing brothers.

It appears in today's local Millicent paper that John Agnew want's to return to Mt Burr only after one season w the saints.
Word has it he's gone !! but after the club wen't out of there way to get him a job w a local electrician, who knows he might have to sit out the year !?!?
One for one really...as Nathaniel Robbins has returned from the burr, whilst he's an outside player & Agnew is an inside type both clubs would be happy with who they've got.

I had this article email to me and it seems like he's looking to Millicent to let him go? Apparently he wants to go back to his family that was all there last year. But his brother is going to play with Glenelg? The question must be asked, why did he come to Millicent last year if his family was at Mt Burr?
Why did this article even make the paper, dont you keep this thing in house? If he has got a heart larger than a pea he should honour his contract. He should ring that fruit cake Michael Jones and ask about getting out of contracts with Millicent

Here here ackers...ole MJ had more short comings than former media mogul Christopher Skase playing coy at a Majorca medical clinic in the Costa del sol south of spain !!!!:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:....

Certain people have every right too be angry over this Agnew situation, the employment position they worked hard at getting him....fast forward to today could have been used for another possible recruit or a junior.

And i know for a fact that the electrician contractor who employs Agnew was heard to be one somewhat dissapointed person.

Anyway, it's all been a positive vibe around the club since Dean has been appointed coach of the saints and one that sits much higher than the appointment of the very coach that replaced Dean at the burr !!!!!

yes nick johnstone has moved i beleive he is up in qld now training with the southport sharks dont know if it is confirmed he is playing there but he is up there atm

see heywood have signed sinclair and he will be down in a few weeks... also he trying to bring a few players with him including big mal
lol.
good coach though and did wonderful things with our 2nd string players at darnum and coached us from last to a flag in 3 years and made most players improve 100% from the year before when we lost every game by 150+ points, although last years team would of won most leagues flags with the cash that was thrown around and the talent that was brought in.

wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours. is a good bloke once you get to know him and really does know his stuff.

Will the Portland tigers have a crack at former premiership player Jamie Camerano....was left out of Henley's gf side loss this yr; apparently rumblings are...questionable bout next yr at the sharks !?

By the way...any1 hear around the mount & s/e dist hear Heywoods newly appointed coach on the couch...with milo this morn....

He sounds like he's got everything Heywood told about him, and he knows he's under no illusions what he's up for.
I suppose we've all heard it b4 w hooker & Hughes and sundry but this guy could get the heywood boys in a good position.

Just read that Brent Green drowned on the Gold Coast yesterday. Anyone who has been around the WBFL will remember Greeny had a stint with the Dogs in 2003-05. He was a great bloke to have around the club. RIP Greeny.

i heard a rumour of a bloke that i no down portland that heywood looking at getting mal micheal. anytruth to this. would attract a fair pay packet?[/quote
I'm 95% sure that this is a done deal, plus a couple of other ex AFL players will follow. Not sure about the coin, but seen the excitement that he brought to darnum last year, not to mention help win a premiership! Worth every cent, anyone from darnum will tell you that. Sinclair says apart from his obvious ability, he is also a magnificent bloke. Great coup for WBFL, not just heywood.:thumbsu:

Apparently reigning league medalist Marcus England has been chasing the coin at a fair few of the league's clubs. One of the Hamilton clubs said they didn't want a player with his off field reputation and a couple of the mount clubs said they couldn't offer him any more than Portland.

Maybe he can pimp himself over on the surf coast - belleraine/GFL/G&Dist or he could join a former tiger in Jarrod Holt at Baccus Marsh in the Ballarat fl.

Whoops....so easy to do now; mentioning Tiger & pimp in the same sentence...:p;):D

holt is back at portland as an assistant coach for 2010

heard big rumour justin mcconnell from glenelg is coaching nth gambier next season ...any1 confirm this???
You heard right....with yesterdays anouncements of MCconnell to North, Holt back too Portland following up on news that big Mal Michael is playing for the woods (Heywood) should be some handy types floating around the league next year !!! and where only in December....
Also heard a whisper that Millicent are supposedly going to refuse the clearance of Jonathon Agnew back to Mt Burr in the mid se. Meanwhile did hear on the contry that he was going too come out in the new year and train w the saints.
The club has every right to hold him to his contract, and whilst contracts mean jack shit these days jobs to recruits are everything.

Yeah S007 by the looks of other league threads on another blog site, he just about had a couple of clubs on the go in each league from the GSFL in the south too the Barossa & light in the north to the Hills comp in the east......

A mate from over that way told me Lachie Crawford is taking training, not sure if he's in the mix for the coaching job or not.

they should just appoint crawf, bloody great bloke and good footy brain!!

crawf would have every right to walk away from the pies, with the way they treated him at the end of last year with his finger injury!!!

see that jason gibbins has been appointed president, read the article about him, sounds like a peanut!!!
