the club has let itself go to shit. werve been saying for a long time get rid of certain people and they havnt and look at a sheppa for example his walked out and turned his back on the club 3 times then king hits his best mate which is the clubs admin and football opperations manager he owes money to half the people at parkside yet the president and "new" parkside think these people are better than us. so how u ment to deal with poeple already making the wrong choices. if we were to go in and take over 3qts of the club would be shown the door and a fair few players wages would be cut down and then we would see who really plays for the jumper.[/quote]

Farnsworth - You obviously love your club which is great. I am not sure how things work at Parkside but at my club we have an AGM every year and all members get to vote on all positions. I am pretty sure all clubs do this.

If you are not happy with the direction of the club why don't you let things rest until the season is over and then get down to the AGM and put your hand up for the top job

at parkside dosent matter wat position u have . DK & BC run the place to their liking its as simple as that and its been happening like that for the past 3 yrs. AGM they promise this and that but it changes so quickly at parkside u dont have time to blink and its disgraceful at the AGM when they read out the player payment figures - 2008 $70k 2009 $92k and as for the top job well if nick condos couldnt get it for the past 2 seasons then im not going to even bother putting my hand up.

if the league decides to have 3 divisions next year how are the divisions going to be set out? will it be 7 in each division (incl. caro springs)? is there any talks of any other sides coming in from other leagues? ive heard point cook maybe?

true abt other teams wanting to join. there was just whispers going around about introducing a third division, i just coudlnt work out how the the set up would be with the amount of teams that are already in the competition.

Heard on the grapevine that point cook is only a slight chance to coming into wrfl but I also heard that there could be a slight chance of rockbank returning to the league

A proposal (rumor) that has been floated, which I am sure Deer Park would like is that next season, Div 1 has 8 teams, 2 teams get relegated, no teams go up. Div 2 would have 8 teams, Div 3 would then have at least 5 teams with the aim of recruiting a couple more to make 7 or 8.

In all honesty, witht he growth of Point Cook, Burnside, Tarneit and Caroline Springs, there could easily be enough players floating around for a couple of teams in some of those areas.

Don't think EDFL would be too impressed or clubs concerned if AFL Vic pushed the likes of Taylors Lakes / Sydneham (I think next year Hillside) to move over to our league - seriously though this is where they should have been in the first place. Also in this time clubs like Craigiburn / Greenvale / Roxburgh Park were also established in the EDFL - how far does AFL Vic want to allow them to spread their wings. They can't have it both ways.

AFL vic has assisted/stepped in to re structure regional leagues in the past, and at present have stepped in to break up the LPFL and redistribute clubs, thus forming a 2 division CHFL comp.

They are also looking at the Mallee Leagues and have restructured several leagues along the Murray region.

I think people get to caught up looking at what is right in front of them, not what is best for the long term prospects of the leagues.

Caroline Springs may want to head to the EDFL with their seniors anyway.....

In regards to CS heading to the EDFL maybe thats a better option for CSFC, but maybe the WRFL should look at helping them out especialy when Pt Cook did the dirty and went to the ammos i say reward those who reward the league. Anyway ive been told CSFC will announce there senior coach next week.

what is your obbsesion with deer park?? they are not the only team not make the step up! maybe when they do go up they well win more then 2 or 3 games a year against teams that are just as bad as you!

North Footscray or Albanvale. Fingers crossed DP can knock off the Cobras tomorrow. DP can still get the double chance but % may be an issue as Parkside are playing the Roadrunners.

Great result for the Devils today in finishing on top. Had the radio plugged in all day at the footy and we were lucky DP got over the Cobras. Didn't have a good first half against the Brookers, but with the break and heap of blokes to come in, things are looking OK.

Have a look at Coburg Districts and particularly Lavo, best and goalkickers in the magoos. I agree with Pieeater's sentiments in that you play the best players at the highest level in your club. Won't matter as the Devils magoos (who ironically will have a few players from our seniors today available) will beat Lavo next week.

Notwithstanding, loser mentality in my opinion.

So its a losing mentality yet your club will do it next week???? so your club will be willing to risk senior players to help the reserves win.... that goes against everything you said.... both lavo and yarraville had about 4 or 5 senior players or players who couldnt qualify for finals... and if you look most of the lavo players backed up and therefore were still playing at the highest level.....

Like it or not clubs like yours and the other leading teams who pay there players make the competition more professional, so for lavo to make even the reserves finals generates more money for the club and gives the younger guys more experience rather than just bringing players in like albanvale and deer park.... so like it or not even your club will do it, but we will see next week as i suppose only the qualified players will be playing..

And when lavo played north footscray reserves you will find there was only 2 seniors players that were coming back from injury.....

gee whizz.....to see the cobra's today supposed to be the team to beat very dissapointing.....nth foots earnt their spot but doesnt mean anything......atick who is he didnt see him today did he play????....pppffft best player i seen today was sammy(41) from the reserves and he's an elma fudd....too many blokes with tats who think they are bigger than what they are.......

slab paid but seen the same old albanvale today tough but stupid when a side kick 9 unanswered goals in the 2nd term means trouble........big drama's i hear with some ressie players not happy with the snr coach........
