I'm more interested in hoppers asking a respected player to sell pay cuts across the board which the group bought into, then it comes out some got increases and the rest a haircut. Bringing in Vespremi. Creative accounting at the AGM about sponsors money in that was never paid and coaches salary that was said to be paid that might be incorrect.....

The silly season is here, Div1 page has Hoppers, Werribee Districts and St Albans and Div 3 has Tarneit with rumours trying to be spread all in just 48 hours and it seems no one really cares about Div 2

I see Charleston has retired from VFL footy so wonder if he will head back to his junior club in Spotty? Huge pick up if he does.

You're 100% correct. Midfield and forward depth wasn't the issue for Altona last year. And with 2 of the best 5 key backs, and the best rebounding defender in the comp, I would have thought defense wasn't the issue either.....
