Re: Western Region Football League team

On a different note hows your form travvy or are you injured? can recall u finished on the pine against us.

Sustained an injury in the colts game so my input into the match was minimal. Personally, the form is improving. I appreciate your interst.

Warmest Regards
Travvy

Whitmar trained tonight and will play at the colts this weekend. Why would he leave for the same money the colts have him on

If he was the type of bloke to play for money then there may be credance to your post. For the record he knocked back 3 times the money colts pay him from St Albans. So money is the least motivating factor in where he plays.

kilmore are in good form this year aswell, robbie could be the man to make them take that next step. interesting to see if he goes or not. he has history at kilmore , played in a senior flag there and is mates with a lot of the senior playing group

Re: Western Region Football League team

Past Players this Saturday at the Colts...should be a top day seeing I'm running it with Ruddsy...looking forward to see a few old heads there. And I believe it's Clarkey's 200th game so after watching a replay of last years Grand Final (McAnulty you bewdyyyyyyyyyyy!)in the clubrooms we will all gather in the marquee and cheer on the boys. Well done Clarkey!

Well as obe1 said i doubt that the money is a factor, firstly he is not on much at the colts and he has been injured so very unlikely to leave at this stage,im sure he would like to play and make an impression at his new club and with clearences closing in 4 weeks i doubt it,he also has some good mates at colts and he is also starting to fit in with the whole club......hopefully he stays, and beyond this year.

Speaking of past players days, I hear spotty are hosting one when they play the colts? when is that game? Colts will need all there supporters that day...this is probably the biggest game so far this year for the Colts...forget Hoppers, Colts need to win this one - especially away game. What a cracker it will be.

You'd have another 200 in you wouldnt you? Winning medals and flags at 40 or however old you are. Have they got a banner for you Clarkey? Better make sure its made of toilet paper or you wont get through it.

Re: Western Region Football League team

Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Actually he wasn't too bad I might have over reacted a bit.

The damage is done TD, look out for a free kick against your side prior to the first bounce..........he just loves being the centre of attention...lol:thumbsu:

Easy beazer i'm only 32 but look younger than you,it's funny though the older i get the better the body feels,10yrs ago the cougar had to do up my boots my back was that bad,but it feels like it's getting better each year, would love to keep playing for another 3 yrs even if it is in the two's i just love being involved at the colts and the longer the better for me,but the way the form is at the moment i could end up in the two's sooner.

So have you done your quad?will you be missing from the game against us?looks as though we will be without j.l and webby but looking fwd to this weks game first and then looking to knock u blokes off your perch,so far our form against the better teams is pretty ordinary at 2 from 4

I'm sure you did play against me in juniors then, played against robbie blomley, also played in the wrfl u/13 combined team with him then also played in PORT MELBOOURNE'S only vfa u/19's premiership,he is a good bloke robbie. Also Ben diamond is still a very good friend of mine but he has not played footy for a while but still involved with port melb.cricket, but no one left from my junior days as you can see im getting on a bit but must stay fresh due to this easy job of being on big footy all day,but still love playing more than ever.Do you still play?? and what's your name

Nah mate..I give it away a couple of years back after a year at Tongala (GVFL) with travvy. Jason McCluskey. We had some good games in those days. Along with YCW and Albion etc junior footy was quite a good standard. I think I trained for that same combined side but Richard Watt left emout of the squad - and he was my club coach at the time..wasnt happy!

Re: Western Region Football League team

Was there a bit of a dust up at 3/4 time of the Spotty v Hoppers game? Heard something about this last night, apparently it fired Spotty up and helped them get over the line. Where are all you Hoppers people? Surely you arent keep away as directed by the club? This week:

Colts V Glenorden - look for a monster win on the rebound
Hoppers V St Albans - match of the day i would imagine, Hoppers just
Albion V Spotty - should win quite easily
Altona V Parkside - depending if Parkside get a few back, but still Altona
Yarraville V Sunshine - not taking this one lighty, Yarraville have definently improved on last year and play well at home.
