Does anyone remember a bloke named Gareth Daley?

He was top age under 18's Port Colts in 1999 and was in the Sandy Dragons squad I believe with Paul Debruyn. Played a number of senior or reserve games that season too - looked to have a bright future?

I recall seeing he got reported for striking his own team mate in a Port Colts peliminary final melt down a few years later or something like that - and didnt turn up to the tribunual or something, but yeah - I checked the WRFL team lists on the site and it doesn't appear theat he plays any more.

I see a few other blokes from the colts under 18 team that season are still at the club (Debruyn, Winters, Bouchard) just wondering if anyone knows whats the deal with Gareth.

Thanks
His on the sup list at the sydney swans

You dont mind having a crack WRFLfan i like it. R U a player in the league or do you just follow the local scene.

I have noticed that WRFL Fan has not provided a response to this question. Being the "internet geek" that he is, he sems to have an opinion on all issues raised on this thread, however this issue, or pointed question has gone straight through to the keeper.

He seemed pretty keen to shed some light on other peoples identities on this thread however when the finger is pointed at him, there is no response.

I dont know specifically if this is true, however if opinions count:

WRFLfan= Elton Stevens.

As i said, i may be well off.

Cheers

Who Will Win the U/18 A's Premiership?

Just wondering who everyone think will be in the finals then who will progress to the grand final?

Way off the mark champ, your opinion is eqevilant to M Webbers posts ( dribble )
No Doubt the man in question is a colts boy through and through, have even heard him quote there constitution from time to time.

But being E Stevens - araid not.

Things are starting to even out, the improvment of St Albans, Sunshine playing well and Beasly to spotty will have an impact.Albion will have to win some big games sooner rather than later or there will mass sackings ( coach included ) in that part of the woods.

The top three teams being Colts, hoppers and Parkside will not have things there own way from here on end. It is a long season from here on ( no breaks ) when you include two to three finals plus the home and away games. Obvioulsy injuries and list managment will figure significantly in the race to the ultimate. All we can rely on is winning form to gauge whos hot in the next couple of months. Way to early to start predicting the final two.

Fair enough with my assumption being off the mark Obe. Whoever it is, he is very protective of his true personality. WRFLfan would be one of the most energetic posters on all topics, has an anwer or opinion on all topics, which is great.

However he seems to be steering well clear of this topic.

Re: Western Region Football League team

hey travvy i dont think you know much about the port boys after coppers the next most hated people are give ups and name droppers so even though you got the idenity wrong you shouldnt drop names mate

It's not that hard to work out who WRFL Fan is. :thumbsu:

TOC, some of your posts are real good champ, your knowledge on most things e.g footy/players/comps is great but then you tend to lower yourself with stupid comments like in your last post.
Time to grow up Son.

I appreciate your viewpoint TOC.

It really does surprise me though that many people choose to hide behind their nickname.

Keep up the good posts TOC!

The only falling is you when the Ronald lays one on you. Actually you would be the type of bloke that would run away anyway. Like you are!! Stand up and be a man and front up. Your the one that opened up your gob and now your pulling out. Like I said I thought as much.

Re: Western Region Football League team

most people come on here to share there views about topics annonomously and some like to be known so all im saying is that if wrfl fan doesnt want all to know who he is well so be it no need to mention names of people who dont even come on here

With this point are you saying that Stevens does not even come onto bigfooty???

Re: Western Region Football League team

Travvy just out of interest what do you think of my posts? are they ok? haha, hope i can meet your high intellectual standards and stimulate and entertain you with my views! As for this week... its going to be massive. Surely Sunshine v Albion is game of the round, does anyone know which games being covered by the WRFL? Spotty v Hoppers is another top game, but id imagine Hoppers should get up quite easily in that one. Altona should probably stay home, along with Seddon and i dont even know who they are playing. Half way mark of the year and id imagine Colts would be flag favourites just to Hoppers, Parkside i cant see being a force but are a great finals side. Spotty when fit with a full side are a definite threat, not many will agree with me but they are a top side. Can sunshine albion or st albans do any damage come finals time?

no im not saying that im not saying anything except dont drop names

Ok young fella, you are not making too much sense. Reading back on your last couple of posts, first you say dont drop names of people who dont come on and now you are sayiing that this person may in fact come onto bigfooty.

But i will let the point rest.

Moving onto the footy:

Massive game for sunshine this weekend. Lets hope we understand that last weeks win was achieved through hard work, and wins are not going to all the sudden come easy becuase we defeated the top team.

Spotty and hoppers will be an interesting encounted too

that's what i think bronco, the time has come for these two teams to stand up they haven't been far off the mark the last couple of years but i think only one of them can make the 5 this would have to be match of the round
