Re: Western Region Football League team

So beazer are you guys close to getting your team to full strength? was it just jensen, pelar and molan missing last week?
I was very surprised you could only win by 14 goals i thought it would have been closer to 200pts.....
When is the big full forward MOLAN back or will he not pull on the yellow and green again this year.

Patak and Wilson were also missing but we get them all back this week except for Wilson and Pelar. Hopefully we get the rest back soon and thats it on the injury front for the rest of the season. we have had enough for a few seasons so far. We played terrible and Parkside really dished it up to us. They were great and to be honest the scoreboard didnt reflect how much closer it was. We were only about 20 points up at 1 stage late in th 3rd qtr. I think we kicked about 10 in the last to widen the gap but they deserve a lot of credit after you guys embarrassed them the week b4.

Re: Western Region Football League team

Absolutely no chance of Albion knockin off Colts. Unfortunately they just wont be able to match them, with Colts having clear winners all over the ground. Has to be match of the day though, the best of the round easily. Hows the injury list at each club? We have a few out, with Davis missin last week and possibly this week. Think we may also not have Hedditch, Quinn or Dickson this week as Willy want them to rest. Not sure why!
Not a good day for the Colts, Albion had more winners around the ground. Great win for the club, don't remember the last win down @ Murphys.
Will secure 5th and might even give 4th & 3rd a nudge..... Go Cats:thumbsu:

Looks like another quite week on big footy with colts going down again.Have the wheels fallen off,McNaulty seems to be the one carrying the team, great effort by him today but cats had too many winners around the ground. To come back from being down by so much has certainly inspired a few to now have a go and try to push the team for the double chance.
Colts are now ready to go back to the drawing board and work out who are the ones that need to be stopped from causing the club to loose all control and slowly slip down the ladder.

We know where we are at mate, pure and simply ALBION wanted it more than we did and i loved the passsion they played with today,it's what has been needed down there for a long time, hopefully our boys can dig deep and bounce back in the last 7 weeks,i have pure faith in them and i am confident that we will turn it around. We now have to fight for a top 3 position and that's when we are at our best and im sure by finals time we will be the team to beat.
I can tell you now albion mite make the 5 but no chance of top 3,a great win today but it was against a team that is not showing much and i think albion should have won by alot more but missed some easy chances.
I hope that we get to meet again come finals time...............
Our wheels haven't fallen off and no particular player is causing the side to slip down the ladder, we will finish top 3 and that was our aim, don't write us off just yet alot of good players to come back

honesstly clarke i saw the game and they were good just accept it that it doesnt matter who you had out they can only play the team you put on the paddock .i think albion would of had about four senior players out aswell . so just accept defeat on the chin and for what it is worth you wont win the big one. spotty hoppers g final oh yea get on the cats ............

As much as I'm a colts supporter and would have liked the win yesterday, it was great for WRFL footy...it's what the comp needs, not winning by big margins, that's what will keep supporters coming along, good tight contests, Albion were ecstatic after the game...the colts need to regroup, get some players back, will be an interesting 2nd half of the season

Congratulations Tappy, its the win your club has been promising for the last four years. Winners are grinners no doubt about that but on the other hand had Chis's kick made the distance it would have been an hourable draw and your best efforts would have been to no avail. Still a win is a win so well done.

As for the colts boys out there dont be to disapionted, whislt there is a ton of room for improvment, especialy at the top end, the last two results, both losses by a kick, are by the two most inexperianced sides we have fielded in the last four years.

Much work to be done with plenty of time to do it, so write us of if you like there is plenty of footy still to come before anyone can lay claim to the flag this season.

It was a fantastic win by albion and i loved the passion you guys displayed, and i HATE fuc king lossing so well done but write us off your peril. We have done it the last two years and know what it takes we have an experience group and have faith that we will turn it around.
Ask the spotty boys who they think the team to beat will be.
Enjoy the win buddy you deserve it .

Re: Western Region Football League team

Albion had there Mid year ball last night which player broke up with his missus then punch a hole in the wall. Club refused to pay up for it, until there was a threat of the police being called.

Re: Western Region Football League team

Beaza im sure you would be glad someone else is punching holes in walls over chicks and its not you getting involved in these types of antics. Howd you go on the weekend buddy.

Re: Western Region Football League team

have to eat my words here! said albion had no chance, i was wrong! obviously they lifted and played there best game for the year. good win, especially at colts ground. seen a few of the boys out last night and they were pretty happy with the win, as they would be! just goes to show how even the league is now, with any of the top 5 or 6 capable of beating each other on the day.

big win by albion on the weekend, well done boys huge effort to win down at murphys reserve. really sets the division one up for a massive finals series, which is great for our comp. gonna be a big battle to see who gets that fifth position still, wouldnt write stalbans of yet either.

definatley wouldnt say the wheels have fallen off at port, they are certainties for a top 3, and are still the team to beat come finals time they were awesome the day they played us and if they produce that sort of footy again they will be very hard to beat, they also knoiw what it takes to win when it counts.

our boys are starting to play some really good footy also, big test for us this week goin down to stalbans never much fun playing there, im not there crowds favourite person, hopefully we can go there get the 4 points and continue to build our form coming into finals.

Your my favourite though crackers, yea it was a great win from the cats.at the moment some boys are not playing with the passion that we had when we played with against you guys i think once finals start you will see our best but first we have to get ourselves in to a top 3 spot to a have a real crack.
What happened to molan i herd he done knee again if so that young fellow has had the worst luck he was destined to an afl star getting drafted top 10,then injuries forced him out now it is getting him again, hopefully he will still make an impact in the wrfl come finals time, the wrfl need top players.
ST ALBANS is a great place to play footy, herd they just picked up bakoulas from greenvale and kruljac formerly of parkside

Great to see Ive been able to get a mention into other peoples f#ck-ups again. Just when I thought somebody else has got a guernsey on here for being a dill, Im never too far away from a honourable mention.

With the footy mate, we played Glenordon and won well. I played on the wing and got a few kicks and kicked a few goals. I would have to be the fattest wingman to ever play the game. We thought they would be a lot better this time around but they werent all that competitive. Apparently they had a few of their better players out and may have made a difference in the margin but who knows.

How are you going?

Im another 1 who said this. Great win by Albion and it is great for the comp. Im not going to change my opinion just yet as they havent done it enough. Its a good start to the 2nd half of the season though.

Re: Western Region Football League team

Fair enough Beazer......looking at the club from the outside we are a bit inconsistant and need to win the big ones that really count. In the past we have upset the favorite but then come across sides below us and not performed.

Why would you post that? Who gives a heck

It would be more surprising if Albion had a function that didn't feature some sort of fracas.

Really who cares. I thought this was a forum to discuss footy matters, not players personal affairs. Have we become so petty that we need to resort to spilling goss on player heck ups? It's not AFL mate, it's park footy. Get over it and back to footy. I'm sure every club has dramas at these functions every now and then.

Know someone who worked, where they had there ball, player in mention was a being a knob all night, being rude to staff, so why shouldnt it get brought up.
Might think twice about it next time?

what has that got to do with anything??? what a waste of space..... if you know the "player in mention" why dont you bring it up with him personally instead of trying to humiliate the person and the club and stop wasting space on a FOOTY forum.....

yeah molan hurt his hammy again, not his knee..... its unfortunant, he was looking really good early on the weekend, i was stranding next to him watching him pluck big grabs and drilling them from 50, he is a gun and hopefully he can get himself right come finals time.

never heard of those two guys u mentioned going to st albans, how do they go? what sort of posistion players are they? definatley goin to be a massive test for us this weekend!
