I'm guessing they'd be Football players. Some of you guys on this thread are so narrow minded. Anyone ever thought that blokes like Matty Bellingham and the two mentioned above simply want to play with there mates or on the same token maybe some players take their head out of the sand and realise that Ammo's footy isn't as bad as most think. Man i'd love to play in a comp where every second week you win by 25 goals and play against inferior teams. Also find it funny that players at Werribee Ammo's constantly are poached or at least attempted to be poached by WRFL,GFL clubs year in year out.

Weribee Ammos hey.......D grade football can't be compared with any standard because its D grade. the standard and committment levels don't exsist. The players who play in this league are playing with mates and not to play the best standard of football available.
Yes, there are some quality players who run around in the Ammos but teams as a whole in the D grade are there for the 6pm drinking session, and thats it.

This coming from a club that recruits players from us that wouldn't get a game in our two's, then go on to play in your one's. Gold. You guys get beaten year in year out by Westbourne in prac matches which might not be taken to seriously by you guys so thats not very flattering for the ordinary boys.

As for the mateship, you are spot on we have guys that get very good coin offered to them but continuely knock it back. What's that tell you about the culture of the club and the direction that we are heading. We have a brilliant junior program which hopefully in a few years will help us retain and regain some players back as we rise through the ranks.

For what it's worth, I think Sunshine could be the biggest improver and Hoppers the club that starts the slide. Good luck to all during the year.

In this case, the standard of footy being played is not the sole issue. As Rock mentioned everyone would like to see Matt play at the highest level he can. Having said that all footy is good footy as long as you have your heart and sole it it regardless of the standard. In this case Matt has been treated very very well by a number of senior people within the club, many of which have gone out on a limb for him. There is never the need to "pay back" anything that anyone has done for him but in this case it would be a fitting gesture on Matts behalf to get behind Rock, train hard and fulfill the potential that all see in him.

Has Matty ever seriously expressed interest in playing in the ones or playing the best level he is capable of? Sometimes mentors want more for a kid than what he wants for himself. Just a question. I hope it all works out, he gets himself fit, committed and plays in the ones at Colts. I would even venture into enemy territory when my team isnt playing to watch the kid. When on song, he puts on a bloody good show.

Keels wake up to yourself, firstly like every club you have a number of senior players that never played juniors at the club, and no where near 35 players that played juniors right through, lastly could you name the 15 that would command GOOD money from other comps......your for one keels that would be in this category, with your training attendence terrible and that comes from your team mates. quote]

Im more worried about building a work career for myself than playing footy thats why I am not at training every night. Footy is short term thats why i'm not chasing coin and not making footy number 1 priortiy.

But this is all off topic. I agree WRFL top 5 teams are better than who we play but I personally dont agree with clearences being refused. Everyone has there own opionion on this so no point going on with it.

wrfl fan, you right on the money. we did sign laurie and we are veryu impressed with his commitment to the club and the league, he has come along way since we all know what. he will be very handy for a few years to help rebuild our club and give us some structure and then hopefully get up to play with u big boys in div1. ur other mail is true as well ur head must be very well and truely to the ground about loaf... simon will come down as much as he can outside his new job and his kids which obviously take precidance over the vales haha. we as a club are fighting hard to regain some respect and also do what many have thought we cant... get to div1. that a way off but like i tell the club we have to set the baR HIGH OR WE will never be content with what we do or how we go aboutr things.... good luck for the year div1 boys personally i think it between suni and colts for the flag. with boofa rosenweig to kick most goals he lookin very fit he might surprise a few with tyquin down there

Matt bellingham is one of our most talented juniors and has yet to commit 100% since being open age he will not be cleared and everyone at the club agrees, it's not in his best interest to go play rubbish football at such a young age. There are alot of people at the colts who care about matty and want him to do well with his footy and personal life and will do all the can to keep him at the club. Hopefully after he meets with us he decides to stay.

If Matty has signed a clearance it is obvious he wants to play at that club, otherwise he wouldn't have signed the clearance in the first place. If Colts have refused the clearance Matt must either be under a contract, owe the club money or has club property. If you have refused his clearance and none of the above are a reason, this means Colts have lied just to be able to try and speak with the kid. If he has signed a clearance, he wants to play elsewhere so let him go. This is also for all other clubs. Stop clearances if a player meets one of the above points, otherwise let them go.

But if contracted and the player is offered more coin elsewere club should ask for a sign out fee witch would allow the player to go and club to get sum compo.It would save all parties a pain in the arse if a player wants to leave you dont want him at the club anyway. Just ask for coin back in return you get his name on your team list.

loaf is helping out cos he is a close family friend, he played for years with my uncle so he is doing just that helping out a young and inexperianced club. why do most people think that big names would not be doing good things or be seen around lower clubs unless their big $$$ about. i bet if rock or spotty or even sunny came out with the same i am doing and my club is doing it would be different convo on here. remember not every club has always been strong and up the top and had money boys. it would be great if people could just except that we know we are a lower club but we want to be better and strong, and me as a coach want to give my players the best chance at improving and winning.
i really dont care what other clubs think one day the vales will be a strong club and i will certainly enjoy my beer that day.

Tyquin is a cancer to any Club. Hoppers, Altona and now Ordinary. word is all Altona players were rapped to see he him go even his so called mates who have more interest in the club than him. Remember seeing him spew after a few hard leads last season. The most over rated player in the comp, dare say he will be injured when they play Altona cause a few may be ready to show him the commitment required with their new coach and that maybe the real reason he left. Hmmm Heard a few ordinary guys werent happy about their pay cuts either and he still wont train.

ill be the first to admit that im a laziest prick around but ive been at the colts since i was 7 and maybe a change could be what i need ??
i know there are a lot of ppl at port that care about me and i care about them as well and am extremly grateful for what theve done for me which makes it harder but its something i wanna do and who knows i might hate it down at south and could be back in a month.....

i proffess to know not much about anything evo but i do talk about things that have ive seen and heard. as for loaf and rhyse twice each is f.... all and pointless and if i was you i would be spewin on them. you probably said you would have them on board more in your interview for the vales job and you had them for a big total of 4 training nights. ofcourse what i say isnt always true and thats part of the fun on discusion boards. what i say about the dills from parkside on this board is always true lol
