the west indies do not have the batting strength to negate shane warne and glenn mcgrath they have struggled year after year against them, they have one of the weakest batting line ups in the world...don't you remember mcgraths hatrick or warnies ball to chanderpaul, lara is on the downward spiral he is a great player but carrying a side for 10 years takes a toll on anyone also their bowlers bowl beamers and short stuff nothing that is going to trouble the likes of gilchrist,ponting and the like, i agree that they mite get it together and win a test, but a series... i dont think so

Believe me, this series will be a 3-0 demolishion, unless Lara produces something out of the ordinary which doesn't look likely at the moment.

I think they will win if not it will be a drawn series

They have the batsman to combat one of the weakest Australian bowling lineups over the past few years. McGrath Warne are the 2 stars with Brett Lee the only other likely wicket taker, Bracken is rubbish and MacGill IMO probably wont play vs the west indies. Watson is trash too

With the left handers of Gayle, Smith,Lara, Chanderpaul, Hinds when fit? and im not sure what Ramdin is , they have the ablitity to negate warnies spin allthough on a last day wicket it could be difficult.

The pace lineup of Best, Lawson, Edwards, Collymore, Powell, Bravo is a strong one allthough most of them dont have the wickets to prove that they have somthing that Australian Batsmen havent come across lately and that is 3 or 4 bowlers in a lineup capable of bowling at speeds over 140 km plus and we saw in the ashes that Lee and Tait where Australias only bowlers to reach that speed whereas the poms had Jones, Flintoff, Harmison bowled those speeds on a consistant basis.

I think they are a massive chance of knocking over a middle order of Clarke, Katich and Watson in no time, and id allmost throw in Gilchrist, if they can get somone who gets a bit of extra bounce with his pace and go around the wicket gilly will struggle again

Best chance the windies have had in a long time at a series win i think
