Just finished A Plague Tale: Requiem. I’m feeling very flat after its ending. I was going to go for the platinum straight away but now, I think I’ll be happy to take some time off and wait before I dare start a whole other play through.

Gotham Knights is next, then Callisto Protocol.

Did you recently purchase Gotham Knights ? It's dropping in price next week via Black Friday promotions (JB physically, Amazon etc... and PSN + Xbox have dropped the price a lot digitally too).

Finished Gotham knights. Was a fun game.

Playing god of war Ragnarok atm. Not sure I'm enjoying it tbh.

Finally finished it. Very good story just takes too long to get to it. Maybe I'm just getting old.

Recently purchased Hitman III/Hitman Trilogy on PS5. Slowly going through it mission by mission on that... and have returned to the pc version (first time in months) and concurrently playing through that version as well.

Fall Guys

GTA V Online
Doing a few missions here and there, racking up $70-100,000 an hour.

Modern Warfare 2
Love getting into a kill streak groove (have to camp to do it lol), but once I get enough I then run and gun a bit to figure out enemy position, before I do some airstrikes.

Tetris Effect
Playing online opponents my most recent match I was 30,000 ahead. Only to get a few dud placements which opened the door for my opponent to comeback (as the speed got faster) and ended up belting me by 60,000.

Rocket League
Playing nightly tournaments on the Xbox
While I'm attempting to fix up my winning percentage on my Switch/Playstation/PC linked Epic account. I can get on a winning run and boost it from 68.3 back to 68.9/69%.... only to fall in a heap and drop back to 68.1%

As someone who thought the first game was one of the best ever, I'm also struggling to get into Ragnarok. I also blame it on being old though.

Sunk about 5-6 hours into Overwatch 2 yesterday. Ridiculously fun and as a F2P game I encourage you all to give it a go.

A little MW 2, Ragnarok and of course Rocket League on the currently playing list.

I think my problem is and it's been going in for a while. Is there's too many boss fights in games now. Walk around the corner another mini boss and they always have help. And your sidekicks are usually useless. I don't know maybe it's me getting old as I said.

Just started Hitman 2. The first was okay but I loved the replayability of each mission. Whether or not I continue playing this is probably going to be predicated on what I pick up in the Steam Autumn Sale which starts in just over 12 hours.

Bought NBA 2k23 on sale. I love the actual gameplay of mycareer but don't get all the cutscenes and the point of the mycity. Spend far too long just walking around trying to find places to do little challenges. Then you play one or two like the practice court then you can't do anymore until tomorrow.

Anyone play this that can let me know if I can just not worry about the city part? Or will I miss out on anything?

I deleted the game when I realised what MyCareer had become. I want to play basketball for **** sake, not slowly stroll around some shit city.

It's good.

These games are great. Replayable. Fun to hunt for trophies and do the different storylines for each mission.

I've played and beat Hitman 1, 2 and 3 and I'm absolutely awful at them but they're great fun.

I just don't get the walking around the city part. Just adds nothing to the game and slows everything down. It's not required as the on court action is really good. I know it's very American with the acting and cringey cut scenes but it's pointless. Hopefully the more I get into the season the less I am required to go there.

Just finished A Plague Tale: Innocence. Pretty good but that pushing the cart sequence near the end can GAGF.

The one where the blacksmith pushes the cart while you have to avoid the arrows and the guys that come after you?

I died so many times on that bit. Kept missing a headshot on the guys that run after you, and anytime I did get them I would suddenly realise I had moved into the arrow fire anyway.

Yeah, that's the bit. Took me probably 70 gos. Wouldn't have been half as as bad if you didn't have to sit through that mini cutscene every time he starts pushing the cart. WTF were they thinking?

Just finished Unchartered 4 and I am about to start the DLC. It was good but IMO suffered from no ability to sprint, the jumping mechanics are just weird, lack of a mini-map or any kind of help to tell you which direction to go, and being so linear. I wasn't expecting a full open world game but for being an adventurer and treasure hunter, the game doesn't really allow you to explore or look for treasure.

I’m about 3/4 of the way through and I’ve had to stop playing it. I found it boring. The climbing and puzzles just kept on going.
