I bought the Robocop game based off a couple of positive posts in here. I hope it gets better because it seems polly wally crappy after a first look.

Mileage varies, in all honesty I felt similar after reading the hype and buying it for myself. Takes a few missions to get into it, but it's the best Robocop game ever :p

I've played about an hour and can't bring myself to go back. The worst writing and voice acting I've experienced in a long time, and the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. I hope it improves but I really don't know if I can make it back.

Finally got around to playing GOW Ragnarok.
Finally rearranged my study so that the PS5 is more accessible and encourages being more than an expensive paperweight.

One of my favourite ever games. Absolutely loved it.

Yep, fantastic game! GOW: Ragnarok is to GOW (2018) what God of War II is to God of War. The original was a classic but the sequel just elevated everything.

Been ****ing around with Mario 64. It's pretty insane how Nintendo nailed 3D movement and level design so early.

Also started playing Urban Myth Dissolution Centre. I'm really liking the characters and the setting, but the puzzle solving has been super on rails and simplistic so far. Hopefully it's just tutorialisation and the puzzles get more complex as the game moves along.

I purchased Test Drive Solar Crown for PS5 was $49 at JB

I get home install the game and for some damm reason when I created an account for Mynacon I didn't receive the verification email I pressed resend multiple times yet nothing.

I tried a few different e-mails and still the same problem. I looked on redit and people were having the same issue last year anyone else have the same if so is there are work around? you cant play game with out an account which is BS.

Will try again tomorrow if still the same I'm going to refund the game.

edit - never mind I finally received the verification email all good now

Digging this game exactly like TDU 1 and 2 loved those games.

Been playing some AO Tennis 2 (yes a Big Ant..... classic lol). IMO it does the basics well enough that I can play a fundamental game of tennis (even with janky movements lol). Saw that their latest tennis entry was on "sale" and I purchased it.

And I have to say that I don't mind Tie Break Tennis - it has a few WTF moments AFL 23 style (like running to the ball, attempting a shot on the controller and the player just continues to run into the ball lol) but I'm still enjoying the ins and outs of the game.

I enjoyed it but does get repetitive and boring pretty quick. Mechanics are good but just feels too random, would amp up the difficulty and then my opponent would make unforced errors. Played my first game against a proper pro in career mode and while their shots were way better they just made so many unforced errors, felt like a waste of my time and stopped playing. Was hoping to feel next to impossible, but big ant hate differentiating teams/players in their games, they all feel the same

FF16. Just bought it on the steam sale and **** me do these games take way too long to get going. Need to take a page out of Fromsoftware and get to the game play already. I love a good cut scene but it's like 30 minutes straight and then game play opens up as a flash back like FFS.

Yeah I'm a bit on the fence about the purchase lol.

I got AO Tennis 2 a few years back when it was heavily reduced.
Enjoyed the game play enough to buy it on another platform soon after (effectively doubling the money spent on it). Completed the "trifecta" by downloading it for free on Playstation as well haha.

Did the career (about 2 years worth) before finally tiring of it. I actually still liked the game play, it was cycling through the menus and loading screens that made me lose interest.

Recently returned it it over the last few weeks, looking for something different to play. I was playing Top Spin 2K24 at the time as well.

Just seeing the Tiebreak game being reduced I thought I'd get it to play the next evolution tennis game...... granted Big Ant love talking themselves up (and not delivering). Weighed it up, I know it (like every other game in recent years) was super buggy at launch.... but they've been constantly patching it since and making it better than it was. A youtube video I watched pretty much convinced me to give it a whirl.

I like some of the movement and game play in general. However a lot of it appears to be scripted to happen (ball hitting the net etc). So far I'd say it's about a 2/5 experience, but once I get the hang of the mechanics and controls I should rate it better.

The user play definitely isn't scripted. It's shot type, height of bounce and timing that impact where your shots go and I can't fault any of that mechanically, it works great. But the opposition player is a different story. Like I said I had a game against it might have been FAA, and he just kept hitting unforced errors out like 50% of points. I'd grind out 20 shot rallies just for that, which felt very scripted and killed the experience. Was having good fun to that point.
