I attended this game when i was in the USA.

The Rocca was a bonus on a 2 for one offer. Not sure if i do want to keep. Ill wait til i get to decide what I do.

Not a Guernsey, but still something I've been chasing for a while, little disappointed to have a signature on it, but still not bad for the price.


Love these old sherrins, had one as a kid in 97 and was my pride & joy, until my dog ate it about 6 years later!!
It does have a puncture in the bladder though, so it can't be inflated, anyone know the best place to get replacement bladders?? and whether it's possible to replace it yourself?

I have done it before. it cost 7$ and took 30 minutes. The lacing is the hardest part. I bought the bladder from the sports store at Kingsway. Ebay is easier if you want to wait

Slater and gartrell in midland will do it for you for $20.

Came across this in my mums closet today. I thought that I had lost it after I divorced my first wife.

My dad was able to play for Collingwood in the 1972 season and played a total of 4 games. In those days he worked as a bricklayers laborer and was dating mum so obviously playing football became a secondary priority! Apparently Neil Mann (Collingwood coach) wanted to play him and even asked mum to get him down to training but dad lost interest and ended up moving to Preston in the VFA for a few seasons earning around $120 a game compared to $40 a game in the seniors at Collingwood!

Unfortunately dad was diagnosed with melanoma and past away a mere 3 weeks before I came alone in 1981.

It doesn't fit me at all. Dad was a fit 6'1 Ruck Rover / Wing while i'm just well, not! The numbers are the plastic type and the jumper itself is heavy wool. It's from the season 1972. If anyone wants anymore information or close ups I'm happy to supply.

Obviously not for sale due to high sentimental value.

This one was listed as a Kayne Pettifer training PI but I'm pretty sure it's actually a 1999 pre-season top which would make it a Mark Merenda PI.

Well to continue on from my last post.
Heres some tidbits.

NFL balls get stamped before the game or marked with a refs motif..some use stamps. Some write on the ball.
In this Case it looks like a Letter B or R or even a Stylized JP.

(Im typing without looking up specifics of referee markings. I might do that later)

Obviously they use multiple balls for a game.

But i may have been lucky enough to photomatch the ball.

First pic is the marking on my ball.
The other pics show RGIII And Colin Kaepernick holding what is possibly said ball.

(And for the record. I have two certificates. One from the Redskins and one from the memorabilia company i purchased from)

I think I may have posted photos of this a few years ago, can't remember. Significant considering the current climate. Adam Goodes PI from 1999, the year he won the rising star. Not match worn as it came direct from Puma. Please, no comments one way or the other RE: Adam Goodes himself, there are plenty other forums on BF for that type of discussion.

Pretty stoked to have picked up this one complete with the Finals patch above his name. A shame it was from a loss but it was the last game in which he was a starter during the Finals. Also love the way the White and Blue jerseys look when hanging side by side.
