Love how 1 page goes from dead great-grandfather's prehistoric footy jumper scam artistry to dick measuring

Here are images of some Port Adelaide jumpers I have bought over the past few years. Is the #40 Aaron Young all-white one similar to the white one you have? Mine doesn’t have the usual AFL tags either- just a small label with the size (M) inside the collar.
I have just measured the GPS pouches of each of these jumpers. The Angus Monfries long sleeved PI is from 2013 and its GPS pouch (when measured from the inside of the jumper) is about 4 inches long and 3 inches wide (at its widest point). However the all-white 2014 jumper, the 2014 player-issue Darcy Byrne-Jones jumper and 2015 match worn John Butcher jumper all have GPS pouches that are bit smaller, at approximately 3.5 inches long and 3 inches wide.

When I looked at these jumpers together I also noticed the style of pouches made by ISC has changed in 2014 as the 2013 ones are more bulky in general, with an extra layer of the padded material they are made of at the back of the pouch and with raised binding around the edges, while the 2014 ISC pouches are flatter.
Would you sell any of your Port Adelaide gear? This is one of my favourite jumpers in my collection. It's a 2013 Port Adelaide "Members Appreciation" jumper. I love the traditional prison bars design.
It has a GPS pocket but no number on the back so I assume it either a spare or a sample/prototype. There's also no locker tag, but looking at the game photos the player worn ones didn't have one either, I wonder why?

Is this a scam??i have a old 1980s port adelaide lace up if interested
i will be listing a real 1970s kangaroo lace up on this site soon, will be waiting for your professional response
If it's worth that much for them to have it then what's the harm?im chilled, having fun as well, really enjoy this site, but some items i see on here, guys are paying big $$$$ for and in time they will decrease in value, best to collect rarer one offs, coa,s are worthless and can be copied, better off getting photo with player who wore the guernsey or letter, hope all you guys have a great new year and go the crows in 2017
maybe, but im sick and tired of seeing modern mass produced football guernseys on this site that will be worthless as time goes by like the old channel 9 memorabilia, would like to see more rare and original ones like mine
I'd love to see that. I love anything North Melbourne that makes it's way to this thread, it's always great to see the clubs history with the kinds of things you really don't see often.i will be listing a real 1970s kangaroo lace up on this site soon, will be waiting for your professional response

It really doesn't matter how much something like the ochre jumper (for example) would be worth to someone that would never even dream of grabbing one, as long as someone who really wants one (like Freight Train, for example) thinks the price is worth it to them now. Not everyone is looking for what they can get out of it financially later, they probably just want it in their collection.
Heh, same.
But seriously, look at it from another perspective, not everyone's going to be able to get their hands on the really cool and rare stuff, but it's still cool to see even retail kits pop up of kits like the 2007 North clash kit, or someone like Cody_ picking up some new Geelong PI's and cool VFL stuff he gets. The people that post their purchases in here are the people that are proud of what thy've just picked up, and it makes them happy to show it off to people like us that have a common respect for these kinds of things.

I have over 200 of these "modern mass produced worthless crap". I may as well just throw them all in the bin!
People like you are the exact reason I stopped posting my collection on here. I would post it cause I was proud of what I had and idiots like you would talk shit about it cause it's not something you collect.
Cheers for trying to ruin a fun hobby
Yeah your right the vast majority on here are like myself and just enjoy seeing other people's pride and joy, I'm always on here checking out other people's pickups cause it's a great hobby to be in. There was just a select couple of people that would constantly bag out my latest additions because they didn't like the team or the player or they were just being asses for the sake of it that just made me not want to post my stuff anymore. So I created my own Facebook page and website and just post my stuff on there for people who are genuinely interestedOut of interest who else was having a go? I can speak for most of us when I say we enjoy seeing other people's collections non matter the perceived value or worth
