Signed by past players who played in 2005 (Wanganeen, Pickett, Chad, Dew, Primus, Tredrea, Choco) and some Port legends (Geoff Motley, Russell Ebert, Timmy Ginever)

Still want to get it signed by other players from that 2005 squad. I think there are still around 8-9 players still playing or coaching in the league. Most still from Port but others like Shaun Burgoyne, Lade, Mahoney still all involved in footy.

I am officially in love PB :heart: I now understand why you are so happy with your purchase. The bottom one's good but the prison bars are simply beautiful. An SANFL replica is definitely my next purchase

Prison Bars I bought off ebay for $455. The 2005 heritage I bought from Rebel Sport in 05 for (I think) $100 or so. Best $100 I've ever spent :D

Lucky I've kept it all this time, I'm one of these people who loses everything and can never hold onto something longer than a year lol. Just kept it in my cupboard all this time until we moved house. Took it out after that and now take good care of it

Call me insane, but I think you've made an error by having one of those signed. It's signed by a strict collective (ie, the 22, or the whole squad) or nothing. And personally, I hate having stuff signed... just not a memorabilia person.

Not trying to ruin the party. They're both beautiful jumpers.

Was going to just get the squad but I couldn't pass on Motley and Ebert. Was actually going to just get them two and not the others, but it happened all at once (Port had a signing session at the club with past legends)

Wouldn't change it though, love signed things

Would love the 04 one as well. Not sure they sold them in store though, only seen them framed and signed from the club. The 03 Prison Bars are my favourite, love Nike.

Ok...I feel really out of the loop here, but why are the prison bar jumpers that valuable? I understand they'd be pretty rare, but I'd probably prefer the SANFL guernsey, personally.

I think they are valuable because the club were not allowed to sell these in stores. Collingwood and the AFL wouldn't let us. The only ones that were sold were the match worn jumpers. I got this through an employee of the club who had used this jumper for promotional purposes. ie, it was on display at the club and did a few media things. One of very few replicas. I doubt anymore than 5 would of been made

Plus it looks better with the AFL logos and sponsors imo. The sanfl version has like 5 million sponsors logos on it. But I still like both.

Sadly pafc_04, I can see the similarities.

But I mean if port play Brisbane and they want to wear the prison bars, I don't see why collingwood should care. All you have to do is look through history books and you can see that however many years before they entered the AFL, that they wore black and white prison bars.

The principle though is collingwood don't own black and white stripes.
Just like cadbury don't own purple.

It's more the association to the brand.

I bought the 2011 Collingwood home last night and noticed that the guernsey is lighter and a different material then previous jumper's by Adidas which i think is good.

One problem for me was putting on the jumper and the collar,the collar is so tight to put on

That Saints 58 is interesting, has a big 'Puma' logo printed on the front but is manufactured by Sekem. Obviously made in the days before 1996 when Puma started making their own.
