Fellas here might be able to answer a question - what's the go with player issue jerseys with no GPS pouches? Can you trust them as genuine? It seems odd that adding the GPS pouch wouldn't just be part of the manufacturing process for jerseys intended to be player issued.
Depends on what year. Clubs add the GPS pockets themselves.Fellas here might be able to answer a question - what's the go with player issue jerseys with no GPS pouches? Can you trust them as genuine? What years would you be talking? I have a GWS collection, so am looking at ISC jerseys from 2012 on.Depends on what year. Clubs add the GPS pockets themselves.

Hey mate! GWS have always used GPS pockets at AFL level on their GPS pockets. If you find ones that do not have the pockets then they were manufactured at the factory in preparation for club/player use. Once the club requests the jumper from ISC they would sew in the pouch and send it to the club. They are still made to the exact specs of the player and are exactly the same as what the players would wear on field minus the GPS. Most ISC clubs this season have opted to go without the pocket and are instead wearing the GPS bra underneath the jumper depending on player preference (Stephen Hill was the only Freo player to be wearing a pocket last weekend). Other manufacturers are different and most come pre sewn before getting to the club. What years would you be talking? I have a GWS collection, so am looking at ISC jerseys from 2012 on.
Absolutely does, thanks a bunch. Being learned in ISC and GWS matters, can you shed any light on alleged white cuffed prototypes? I trust you've seen them on eBay, they look questionable to me.Hey mate! GWS have always used GPS pockets at AFL level on their GPS pockets. In summary, as a collector I would not pay as much for a pocketless ISC jumper pre 2016, this season you'll be looking at higher prices being they will be exactly the same and the odd GPS pocketed one may be worth even more if the player is known to prefer the pocket over the bra!
Hope that helps
Their pretty much just what you said, prototypes. I don't know wether the clubs requested the samples or if ISC just decided to make them up to show the clubs what they looked like but yeah they are just samples of what they would look like with white cuffs. Odds are they weren't it to the players specific body types either more likely a generic size but could be wrong about that. Still collectable jumpers as there are very few of them aroundAbsolutely does, thanks a bunch. Being learned in ISC and GWS matters, can you shed any light on alleged white cuffed prototypes? Every man has a priceso if you've been looking for one for ages, I would assume to add to the western Australian sports memorabilia, then why is it for sale??
I know my footy club, we use VX Sports GPS's. I'd say that the AFL ones aren't an out the box GPS though, probably looking around 2-3k per unit. Catapult make some good consumer end devices thoughIs there somewhere to buy GPS devices, the same ones used by players?
What do the players use?
I collect GWS jumpers too, do you have any pics of your collection? How many do you have so far? What years would you be talking? I have a GWS collection, so am looking at ISC jerseys from 2012 on.

I have a few, aside of the retail jerseys I have 20 either match worn or player issue. I can post some pictures of my favourites, just new to this forum so might take some head scratching to upload them.I collect GWS jumpers too, do you have any pics of your collection? How many do you have so far?
I have Callan Ward's match worn and signed jersey from their first win in 2012, but that is framed.I collect GWS jumpers too, do you have any pics of your collection? How many do you have so far?
Yeah players personal choice what they find more comfortable, out of last weeks nab game Stephen Hill was the only one wearing one.Do you know why the clubs wearing ISC jumpers have gone away from the stitched-in pocket? Is it a comfort or a cost thing?
Wasn't the Kia sponsor fake? I think we had something similar like this ages ago.I have a few, aside of the retail jerseys I have 20 either match worn or player issue. I can post some pictures of my favourites, just new to this forum so might take some head scratching to upload them.
I was going to reply to your post about the 'prototype' Kia jersey, I have one of those from the same source. Thought I had been done outright, but recently came across this, which looks 100% genuine to me.

The one pictured above is completely different. If it is not genuine it is a spectacularly successful fake - the material is right, the colours are right, the cut is right, the collar is right, the logos are right...Wasn't the Kia sponsor fake? I think we had something similar like this ages ago.
