I can see a scenario where we play crap but win well enough.

Im prepared at the worst for the type of win you hardly celebrate and eagerly await the next week straight after the siren to see that you were only dragged down to that level.

Chance for guys who havent impressed this year to show us what they have. If you cant do it against Melbourne then you cant do it against Essendon.

The thing with Melbourne if you start kicking multiple goals then they will fall to shit and that's when the rut starts. The players lose confidence, stop trying to chase and tackle and Mark Neeld generally has no answer.

We get off to good first quarter then we can expect the 60+ point win. Give them a little sniff and we could shoot ourselves in the foot. I have looked for ways where they could possibly get on top of us and can't see a way. Especially without Sylvia and Trengove in the middle.

Also comparing this to the Dogs game. The Dogs are a much better team then Melbourne. I'd say 30-40 point better side. The Dogs actually challenged Geelong for a little while.

Not in the slightest that i have thought bout losing to Melbourne, it wont happen, why? cause we will be well prepared for their fight with all the bad publicity etc that they've received over their lose to GC...

I can tell you one thing, tigerz18. This board will NOT be deserted if we lose*. In fact, every Richmond poster, plus every poster from all 17 opposition teams will be here. Most will be looking and laughing.
