Campbell has lost his explosiveness since Round zero bc he’s now obviously been told to play more defensively as the team is in self preservation mode from total destruction. You can see he’s looking undecided when he gets the ball now and not playing with natural instincts anymore. It won’t be long before he becomes the next victim as they roll start in another tractor.

We want to play the kids, but you also need some hardened bodies around them, otherwise they just get smashed and learn nothing.

I'm more annoyed at the VFL playing at 2pm on a friggin work day.
Will be in a meeting and won't be able to watch a sneaky stream.

If I was feeling ungenerous, I would suggest it seems like the club is being incredibly stingy and spending a little as it can get away with on the football department. Not spending a bit extra on better assistants (not to mention an upgrade on our fitness guru) will come back to bite us on the arse.

And I think it's already started.

FWIW, I don't think Pickett is a tractor. He's just undisciplined and sloppy and makes 2 mistakes for every nice bit of play he produces.

I don't need to be inside the room to know the team selection is poor. Kids are being played out position then subbed or dropped after 1 week. Players selected off poor VFL form or no form. Any player with a bit of experience is never any danger of being dropped, only the kids.

Btw I like Naismith but who's going to play tall forward? Its ultra small. Unless they have a plan to lower the eyes and hit up inside 50 leads. Maybe Miller plays forward (I prefer him back) hence Naismith rotating ruck and Ryan left out.

If they have a plan to play Miller forward I would not be at all surprised if Macca plays back which he has done before.
