You did with your clever post. I know this is the part where you'll hyper fixate on words and say "I never said that", when we both know your joke was a funny (and I genuinely laughed) way of baiting me.

Say you didn't, we know.
Again you seem worked up over generalisations.

I work a 20 minute drive from home with the PT alternative taking nearly an hour.

This is the biggest issue imo.
20min drive vs 30min PT? sure; way cheaper & more relaxing.
For me going to visit fam in Melb (from East Gippsland) is weighing up a 3-3.5 hour drive & half a tank of petrol vs about 5-5.5 hours via train (or 2hrs on a coach then a train), train and 20 minute walk.

To clarify, I also drive a couple of times a year, for a similar trip.

I think there are occasions where it makes more sense, I just don't think it's as necessary as most people seem to think.

I apologise for being a smart alec in this thread yesterday. Part self righteousness and part trolling, but to dank420_ 's point, I agree that approach isn’t going to convince anybody here.

Nice melt.

Barry from the Hoselink is starting to really shit me. Walks out into the glum looking backyard...the grass is dormant and roses and wisteria all cut back...clearly Winter. Buys a hose from Hoselink and boom they are playing cricket there. Roses are in bloom, everything happily flowering away and grass is green again. Now in late Spring or early Summer....Think the change in seasons has more to do with the transformation than your dam hose or connections Baz!

Yeah, entitled and selfish drivers are the worst.

😄
I guess they could walk anywhere within a few km and start fights with other pedestrians who walk head down on their phones or veer to the left as you're about to walk around them on their left (or veer right when you're going right).

I wouldn't mind so much if they did that as those 2 pedestrian antics really shit me.

I'm conflicted.

Road-raging hooligans
when i was driving an hour to work along some of the busier eastern melbourne roads (in my shitbox) road ragers were the absolute worst.

honking me for obeying the speed limit, tailgating, cutting me off.

i'm lucky i don't have a dashcam because there would be lots of expletives thrown out towards other drivers. there's a lot of shit drivers in melbourne, i try to avoid it when i can

I’m a bit of a pedestrian rager at the shopping centre. 😅

I wish people had to get walking licenses that indicated they at least know how to safely cross a road, and stick left on the escalators.

In some countries they paint lines on the path to indicate where the slow lane is. Shopping centres need that

Some absolute shockers out Bendigo way I've heard. Taking up the footpath trying to get their soon to be toddlers to help carry the shopping bags. You don't want to get stuck behind that.

It's the standers on escalators that give me the shits.
