I've had enough of all of these kents already.

Nothing would satisfy me more right now than drafting H.Reid and watch him kick a bag against the tin-rattlers.


And anyone else wanting to entertain splitting the pick in this massively compromised draft needs to give themselves an uppercut as well.

It's 3 months away though. And ROBs already been on the Gettable podcast (before we even actually had pick 1) and said we'd already talked to Reid twice, they have no fears about him not wanting to come over, and when asked about what it would take to trade pick 1 they got up to "3 1st rounders" and his response was "keep going"

Can you please repost this every time someone sh1ts themselves about us trading pick 1 for loose change.

I think last year was a bit different. There wasn't a real standout player like Reid and there were a couple of Vic-based players who did not want to relocate interstate. Made sense to pick split last year.

I'd be the first one down at Min Res Park ready to burn the place to the ground if we accept a 2+16 type deal.

l would be the first one down to Arden street to burn it down if we offered it.
The way l see it is if West Coast pick Reid North take Curtin...
If however Wesy Coast decide to take Curtin then North will take Reid..
This way its a win win for both clubs without media hype...

I am in no way implying he won't be a jet, or that if we have pick 1 that we should not read out his name without hesitation - but there have been plenty of instances of players that dominated in juniors due to their physical advantages but as they enter the AFL system they get found out.

Very fair point but you could say that about one attribute or another of every single player in the draft. Strength, endurance, footy brain etc. Reid is as close to a sure thing you’re going to get. Dominates every line he plays on. Could literally play anywhere that doesn’t require you to be 195cm+ but granted, you can’t teach height.

Yeah but the thing is Reid was dominating last year against older boys and just dominated a VFL team a few weeks ago as well. He’s also highly skilled, it’s not like his only attribute is physicality.
