Havent been able to turn up in recent weeks so wondering if someone could let me know the following?

I noticed that over the last two months where I have been sitting that Richmond supporters werent overly critical but consigned to resignation and even laughing at some of the errors. It has been an air of resignation I havent seen ever before.

I take it on Sunday against the Hawks that the fury would have returned (What an insipid performance) or were Tiger supporters simply happy to see the loss?????

Feeling in the crowd? Where i was it was a feeling of disgrace...i can't describe how PIS*ED OFF i was at our game today, come the last quater we were just laughable, i knew form the start it was gonna be a hawthorn win with the ruck contest being Everitt Vs Marsh though...i still can't beleive we are this bad though.

Obviously i can't speak on behalf of the other Richmond supporters, but i was VERY dissapointed with the way the team performed today, but i wasn't disappointed with the result.

I really couldn't care less if we get the wooden spoon this year, because picks 1 and 4 and looking better than 2 and 5. We need to finish last and that is why i was 'not upset' at todays result.

In my part of the crowd there was disbelief at Frawley. We again had nobody in our 50m meter arc, and one player in our forward half of the ground. We were only three goals down, we'd get the ball in defence, the player would look up and see nothing but grass to pass to.

Most supporters were frustrated by this, because we had no hope to see how our players were actually going.

Not too many were upset about the loss. It was fairly accepted, and now that we have locked in the priority pick, we can really barrack next week.

I was a bit worried at half time. Our brilliant captain and leader marshalled the troops for a meeing b4 they went off the ground. I gather he was trying to inspire them to win but then realised he was probably telling them to forget their ideas of a comback as we were aiming to get that 14th loss in a row and get his name into the record books.

The funniest reaction i have see all year was one bloke standing up in front of us and for the whole 3/4 time break just screaming towards the coaches box. - Go Home Frawley, Just get out of our lives NOW. Go on you've killed us what more do you want to do to us!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know the humour doesnt translate too well into text but to see it for a whole five minutes with this bloke almost in tears had people laughing and almost crying in sympathy. He seemed to be the only person who hadnt lost that feral anger whilst all around him just wathched the game in resignation.

We have learned to see humour in Spud still being at the club despite the fact that it still kills inside.
