Truce then. I can't hate a Metallica fan either :thumbsu:
OK. But this can never be spoken of again brother - no-one can know that I'm not at war with a Collingwood supporter.

Take a look to the sky just before you die, It is the last time you will

Excuses will come from the following and will be used on a rotational system

Mick Malthouse is not feeling well
Eddie is in Sydney
Injuries
We traded Tarrant
We are blooding youth
Injuries
The draw
The Earth is slow but the ox is patient

Essendon had the same amount of games at the MCG and travelled outside Victoria exactly the same amount of times (4) as Collingwood did in 2006.
Bombers finished 15th.
Pies finished 5th.
No logic there.
You see, it doesn't matter how easy or hard a match is perceived to be, you actually have to win it to be any good.
Is playing the Demons at the 'G going to be an easy game? What about Bulldogs at the 'G? Easy?
What about an improving Richmond, will that be a walk in the park?

Anyway, you foolish bunch of anti-Collingwood ostriches with your heads stuck in the sand. It's your own penny-less Melbourne-based clubs that lobby the AFL for home games against the Pies each year....so if you perceive them to have a soft draw its your own fault...SUFFER.

Collingwood will be forced to blame the team that it meets in week one of the finals when, after a super soft draw, they finish 5-8 then proceed to get destroyed by the team lucky enough to play them. :thumbsu:

Pretty much like 2006, with the Western Bulldogs the destroyers on that occasion.

Gosh it seems all you "other supporters" have more passion about collingwood than the real collingwood supporters, how about you just leave us alone, we dont care about your teams, how about you stop whigning and just play/watch your football team :thumbsu:

so are the dream fixtures the AFL keep rolling out every season for your mob.

Mate, sorry to sound patronising, but it is in the AFL's and the welfare clubs of the world's interest to have Collingwood playing as much as possible at the 'G.

Reason?

"BUMS ON SEATS"

Bums on seats mean money in pockets, particularly for those that need it most.

Oh, and we do alright out of it too, financially.

I know you are a Saints supporter, but wouldnt you like the apparent "DREAM RUN" of the interstate clubs? I would give up my 18 victorian games a year for a "GENUINE HOME GROUND ADVANTAGE".

Fair dunkum. All you bloody fellow vic club supporters are aiming your sh1t at the wrong club.

Have a nice day.:)

It's just called discussion about a soft draw for the most despised club in the competition. Nothing more.

Whereas the Ninthmond excuses have already started. At the moment it's Collingwood's easy draw. Halfway through the year it will be Richo (isn't it always!). And by the end of the season they will have turned on the coach. Interesting fact: Only three teams have not appeared in a Grand Final since the creation of the AFL - Freemantle (not for long), Footscray (good chance) and.....Ninthmond.

Geelong....the only Victorian team with a real home ground advantage, were given 6 games at Kadinia Park in 2006, including the first 3. That's a huge advantage. And they still stuffed it up!

My particular highlight from season 2006 was Collingwood's 102point mauling of Geelong in round 8...I do believe the cats had a full list of healthly, fit players to pick from all year also.

I think Geelong supporters should quietly go away and have a good internal look at things and realise that the Cats were infact the worst side (barring the magnificent NAB Cup win..LOL:) ) last year.....Carlton, Essendon, Hawthorn etc. all have excuses. You jokes don't.

Further reasons put forward why Collingwood lose:

(a) Player W, X, Y or Z will get caught drinkdriving/speeding/assaulting/ urinating in public - Collingwood will say offfield matter;
(b) Ill health of coaching staff; and
(c) Poor drafting and young players ahving to be played before they're ready.

Really doesn't matter of course because 4 points lost for any reason is still 4 points lost.

We are the only Victorian team with a real home ground advantage - and whose fault is that? Your team chose to move from its traditional home ground (with some prodding and $$$ from the AFL), so don't complain about it.

Yes, you beat us this year and made the finals for one week. I hope that week made you happy. We were terrible last year, I admit it, and did all through last year. The upside is that we have a lot of room for improvement in 2007. If we do well, it won't be with an advantageous draw like Collingwood's, however.

And, by the way, it wasn't a joke - Collingwood will get pumped in the first week of the finals in 2007 :p
