What would a Dutton Liberal leadership mean for the Liberals and the country?

Got an interesting email from my local MP.

The first part complained that Labor's budget had too much new spending. (3 dot points)
The second part complained that Labor's budget didn't have enough new spending in our electorate. (4 dot points).

That's pretty much the whole email.

Also, The LNP response mentions "home grown inflation". Are they just flat out denying that this inflationary cycle is both global, and driven by corporate profits as a result of market capture?
It is home grown inflation - caused by the Abbott/Turnbull/Morrison governments printing cash causing national debt to quadruple and handing it out willy nilly.

lol about the email - The LNP might as well share office space with Herald Sun

Labors housing crisis
Labors immigration crisis
Labors inflation crisis
Labors power crisis

Repeat ad nauseum. Deflect when asked what part they as government had to play.
Whether they did enough
Whether they deliberately let it run once they realized labor would win
?

'lets make albo a one term goverment'

Make up slick names like 'jimflation'

The only time you ever buy a chocolate bar from a supermarket is when they are $1 - although that has gone up to $1.25 now.

A good lamington can be $7-9 these days - that seems to be a much more pressing problem.

There is such a thing as a good lamington?

Boost down from 60 to 50 grams as well. Lucky there's still a few of the 60g ones out there, but their days are numbered :'(
I looked it up and the excuse is that 44g is "a single portion" and they reduced the Cherry Ripe size to help people control their sugary treats intake.

Funniest thing I have read in a while :D

boats!
boats!
boats!............

Sadly I think cutting immigration which looks to be a Coalition policy now will be quite effective with certain parts of the electorate
How long does an approved migrant get to come? How many are approved right now?

There is a definite lag so the decision to approve numbers happened x months before the peak.

If numbers come down, there’s an argument that ALP are better in that space than the LNP

and as a result of their economic policies over most of the last 30 years?

Also remember Abbott made a big thing about creating lots of jobs……except the figures were the estimates anyway.

Dutton promising a significant immigration cut from the highest level ever……it’s going to happen anyway

You can't lift numbers in defence without public servants to support them you dunce.

You also can't do a number of the things you claim you want to do without public servants.

Never mind the fact more and more young people don't want to join a defence force that sees its former employees suffering mental health issues and committing suicide at a ridiculously high rate.

Inspired. Confident. Forward-thinking. Unapologetic. Visionary. And above all else - no waffling or virtue signalling.

Take a good look Albo - THAT is what a leader looks and sounds like. The sooner you and your motley crew of imposters get the federal eviction notice, the better.

God bless Peter Dutton!

Are you watching the train wreck on the 7:30 report? He is a mess

My step brother went through Duntroon in the late eighties and topped himself just before Christmas last year, the army spent a fortune training him and two and six to support him once he'd left them. It was like they'd squeezed what they could out of Simon and chucked him in a bin once they were done.

It’s no different to his nuclear waffle. He’s got no intention of doing any of the things he says. It’s just to create wedges.

As if his big business backers are going to want less migrants which would put upward pressure on wages.
As if Australians are going to take minimum wage exploitation jobs in aged care, cleaning etc.

Dutton is a completely post truth politician. Just says whatever he thinks will play well on Sky & 2GB.
