i think the coaches have messed with lynch'ys mind too much,he doesn't seem to know what he's supposed to do anymore.
there were a couple of times when he was just outside 50 m ,he was just about to line up for a shot at goal, when he changed him mind and did a short pass instead.this is because the coaches dropped him for bombing into the forward line, but he is now second guessing himself ,and not playing his natural game.
his greatest weapon is his long kicking, but now he has been coached not to use it!

just my opinion, from what worsfold has said to the media

no change at all, just exposed now he is exected to be a senior player and play a role.
he doesnt have it and never has. Cant mark or kick but works hard - sounds like D grade amatures to me..

His effort in the first couple of minutes against Kade Simpson summed it up - couldn't take a contested mark (against a much smaller opponent) and then didn't chase when the ball hit the desk.

Should be banished never to return.

Unfortunately for the Q stick I dont think he has a lot to offer this team going forward. He can't kick straight, he can't mark, he doesn't lead well or smartly, he's slow and for a man of his strength he can't even lay a tackle ffs. He was serviceable as a back up ruck at one stage but with NN in the team he's not needed there either.

Trade him for anything.

JK/Lecca get the same delivery... Still manage to take marks, kick goals and provide pressure.

I'm so sick of Lynch continual selection. I thought the Eagles had turned a corner with his dropping earlier this year. Was told to go back and work on his goal kicking and FF'iness and for some disgusting reason, he did neither. Barely remember him getting more than a goal or two in his time back at WP and made it back in the team where he has probably contributed less than a goal a game in assists + actual goals together.

He was never good but silver service delivery made him servicable when we had zero other options. What baffles me is we have 3 big guys waiting in the WAFL. Hansen who managed 7 goals a week for 4 weeks running, i know its Hansen but he kicked more in 1 week of WAFL than Lynch did in his 4 and at least can mark and kick relatively straight. Brown and Notte who are both working into form at FF for their respective teams. Both also kicked 4 goals this weekend which is also MORE than Lynch can do. Both are a damn site more agile and quicker than Lynch.

Game has changed too - much quicker, rebounding from defense has increased and with it the need for forward pressure. All have contributed to Lynch being left behind.

No doubt in my mind he shouldn't have been brought back when he was. While you could probably argue 50/50 as to whether he should've been dropped in the first place, he should've remained out until he started to find some really good form. I know some people question his ability but regardless, it shouldnt have been too hard to an AFL player to kick a bag or 2 in the WAFL. As they've brought him back now, hes low on form and low on confidence and it looks like he knows it. Its kind of like they've pulled a half baked cake out of the oven and served it for desert...If you get me.

I think it's possible that whoever we play at FF wont get enough delivery, and thus wont have a lot of influence, because they'll be 3rd or 4th in line as a scoring option.

The way the system works currently involves getting scoring shots for Kennedy and LeCras. McKinley pops up every now and again too...A FF though seems to play the bail out option and that's never going to be an easy gig.

First Brown sucked at it, now Lynch is sucking at it. Until we change the system, almost anyone would suck at it.

Just my opinion.

What if we had a fit-and-firing Fevola at FF? Would he 'suck at it'?

No, he's too good for that.

His reputation would ensure he gets plenty of delivery. Players would look for him in the forward line when kicking inside 50 because they would be confident he could get the job done. No FF on our list has that, obviously.

Fev wouldn't be as good in our forward line though because we dont really run a system where you clear space for your FF to lead to. At best we start players 30 out and get them to lead to 50, but that's usually Kennedy or LeCras.

If we had Fev though, Kennedy would either suffer as we'd give Fev his role (he'd be better at it, probably), or we'd change the system to allow both of them to work.

Basically, Fevola wouldn't suck in our system because he's a great player but he would be less effective.

I don't like to say it but i told you so.

Predicted he would struggle for direction, that he wouldn't be needed through the middle and because of that he would struggle as a forward. Sad to say but the Q has had his day.

For those saying Lynch is struggling because he's playing FF. He's still playing up the ground, he refuses to say forward and he continues to go unpunnished.

Should have never come back, didn't do Anything in the WAFL.

Quite strange with old Lynchy. Early in his career as a forward he couldnt mark the ball to save his life. Then he came good in 06/07 and now has gone back to being terrible again. He seems to have no confidence at all. To be fair on him though, about 80% of the balls delivered to him the other week were grubbers along the ground that he could do nothing with. He has always had accuracy issues when within 40 metres but outside of that he was quite accurate.

Sad for a crowd favourite but his time is up and should only be used as depth these days. Surprising that if he got another 20 odd goals he would be 3rd on the alltime WCE goal kickers list.

According to Woosh at the press conference: it's mostly bad delivery from the mids.

Sigh.

If that's what Woosha thinks, WC are in strife. Even when Lynch marks a kick that hits him on the tit, he misses the goal. So if it's not one, thing it's the next.
He's the Hungarian salad. Crab, Goat and spud, lightly sprinkled with with fresh piss from the weak bladder of Cale Morton.

Lynch got a mention on Footy Classified and got compared to Justin Koschitzke in terms of their similarities in form at the moment, Lynch stacked up pretty well against him but Kosi you could arguably say was a star at one stage.
