Re: What's the last movie you saw?

Watched Horrible Bosses last night. Wasn't expecting too much, but was pleasantly surprised. Plenty of good laughs.

It's worth watching for Jennifer Aniston's nympho character alone to be honest. Still looks great @ 42.

Also saw this recently. Aniston was really good. Funniest movie I've seen this year.
Kevin Spacey's character was actually my favourite. and Julie Bowen was looking hot as usual.

Whenever I think about Your Highness I giggle.

That wizard had some good lines.

Saw Horrible Bosses today. Laughs few and far between pretty boring movie. 4/10 extra points for Aniston who is hottttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

Watched the classic The Conformist (1970) recently wonderful piece of film really I was impressed by the overall style and texture of the film has some trully impressive moments especially the whole non-linear storyline and acting from the lead but ultimately didn't engage me as much as i'd hoped 7/10

Re: What's the last movie you saw?

horrible bosses.

enjoyable flick. found it a bit shitty when all three main actors spoke at once. it was hard to follow what they were saying. but at the same time it gave the viewer (me) a sense of confusion and panic.

anniston looked hot, which she doesnt do very often IMO.
jamie fox was good also.

Lion King 3D

Always loved the movie, and the 3D was actually very well done for it. It's one of those films that warrants an enhancement like this because it's so vivid and layered. It really does leap from the screen.

8/10

Report back after the Minotaur fight ;)

Thought it was more hit than miss unlike most reviews. Then again, I'm a big Eastbound and Down fan.

Recently saw Green Lantern, often fast forwarded- twas a waste of my remote batteries.

Ahahahaha, that was incredible :p can't cut off the horn so may as well cut off the lower horn :D:thumbsu:

Went to a preview screening of the Footloose remake last night, really rated it, good fun coming of age teen drama, think teens will love it which is good because many of them wouldn't have seen the original, the new Ren can seriously dance!! And Julianne Hough is not too bad to look at for 2 hours!!
if the original is the benchmark for this movie it wouldn't be far off it comparatively to the original 9.5/10

I gave Horrible Bosses 4/10 too. Had some good moments like Kevin Spacey tricking him to drink in the morning and Jennifer Aniston being sexy as. But the jokes got lamer and repetitive. You can always spot a weak movie coming when they advertise it to the max.
Hangover 1 was the best I've seen for a while.
And Red Dog was a classic tail as well! Best Aussie movie since Chopper.

Drive.

Just see it. :thumbsu:

It was alright, fantastic opening but it didn't build that well, terrible soundtrack and the protagonist was quite unlikeable despite good acting from Gosling. 6-7/10

Are you crazy Jonesy?
One of the best complementing scores I have ever heard. Angelo did an amazing job.
The song tracks though were ordinary especially that closing one. Something about a human. Yuck.

A Scanner Darkly.
Avoided it when first released but an interesting "Drug" movie that deserves more kudos than it received.

Re: What's the last movie you saw?

The Book Of Eli - 6.5/10
Shutter Island - 8/10
Piranha - 7/10
Scott Pilgrim Vs The World - 6.5/10

That movie's a cracker! Awesome acting, clever story and mad setting with an eerie soundtrack. One you have to see a few times to make your mind up what happened! Haven't seen the others. Wanna see Piranha.

I maybe be alone here, but I thought Shutter Island was too trumped up for a story we've all seen many times over.
Quite frankly, it bored me when the trick (?) became obvious.

Im with you on that Hark, i was so pumped for it, DiCaprio, Scorsese, Kingsley i thought it would be great, but it was so transparent and obvious, not to mention way over-acted and just all round dull. Imo most disappointing movie last year.
