It's a shame Neill Blomkamp hasn't made a good movie since D9.

Yup. Still, I hope he makes a sequel to D9.It's a shame Neill Blomkamp hasn't made a good movie since D9.
I very much look forward to this having loved Hell or High WaterWind River - Fantastic new film with Jeremy Renner and the hot Olsen. Written by the same guy who wrote Sicario and Hell or High Water
Draft Day.
Bit bored today and threw this one in, found it a little silly, but it was a decent flick.
2.5/5
A post earlier got me wondering what theatre's people choose and why?
I was always a Hoyts customer growing up, more of location than anything else. Since I moved houses the last 3 years have swapped to reading. Cheap tickets ($10 normal, $20 gold) and food prices are pretty good (popcorn tastes better than hoyts)
Also do people always get drink and food? I never did in the past (too expensive and would normally get something before or after) but my missus always has to get something, even if we just ate - does my head in (but then I usually eat most of it hahah)
I did have an astor membership and a membership to the sun in Yarraville. Awesome cheap tickets and the cinemas were amazing (especially the Sun) but the people were horribly obnoxious, nearly got into a fist fight with a dude who was drunk and just talked at full volume through a whole movie.
The Man In The Iron Mask
Caught this on TV a few weeks ago. Maybe the first time I've seen it since it was new. I enjoyed it. I like the portrayal of the older Three Musketeers and the bleakness of the characters thrown in is for good measure for what is a pretty fantastical story. They are all played well, and John Malkovich in a role as a protagonist is not often seen. Leo is great being a real arseh*le as King Louis, one of cinema's completely irredeemable characters up there with Biff from Back to the Future and Billy Zane from Titanic, then also strong playing the imprisoned twin, innocent and unaware of his true identity. There's fighting, laughs, and bits of drama in a balanced film.
It's a good action adventure period piece with a bit of star power behind it and some cheese on top.
8/10
Agree with that. Loved the football aspect of it.The drama of the family stories was a bit much but the football side of the movie was excellent IMO. Particularly the actual draft.
Hahaha valid. The draft part of Draft Day was great! But yeah his mum tried her hardest to ruin the film, God she was annoying. She could even look at him disapprovingly from there:

Didn't have a major release in Aus fromHahaha valid.
Now that I think of it, did that hit cinemas? I only happened to randomly stumble across it, no one else I know had even heard of it before me.
That would explain it. Think it's well worth the watch, even if the interest in NFL is only casual. Wish they'd make more movies like that.Didn't have a major release in Aus from
Memory.
