Off-topic What's your favourite destination that you've visited in Australia or overseas?

I've been lucky enough to have travelled overseas quite a bit over the years. I've certainly seen more of other countries than I ever have of Australia even though I was born here.

What's the best/most enjoyable/most beautiful place you've ever visited and why?

I've been to Singapore (3 times), Pakistan, Thailand (3 times), China, Italy (7 times), Vatican City (100s of times), San Marino, France (3 times), Greece, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands (twice), Luxembourg, Belgium (3 times), Switzerland, Czechoslovakia (as it was at the time of my visit), Slovenia, Norway, Sweden, Serbia, Bolivia, Argentina (twice), Brazil (3 times), Paraguay (twice), Egypt, Dubai, Ethiopia (6 times) and the USA (I may have forgotten a few). I've never been in a 'tour' group having almost always travelled on my own and done it rough when necessary. Having family around the world helps!

My favourite for sheer beauty is a toss-up between Trondheim and Gjellstein in Norway and Iguazu Falls on the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Here are a few photos I took of the Falls - the movie The Mission starring Robert De Niro was partly shot there a few months after I visited.

Water, water, water cascading in every direction I gazed. Iguazu makes Niagra Falls look like a leaky tap:

Thats because of the timezone on Mars. Its a really weird timezone in that his bed time during Winter perfectly aligns to Collingwood games start times.

About 80% of the cars I saw there in 2022 were electric. They are one of the few countries in the world not in debt to the robber baron scumbag banks.

Quick question: The world is about 100 trillion dollars or so in debt. Who the fork does the planet owe it to?

Most of my trips have involved Brisbane Lions away games with a bit of sightseeing either side. I really wanna do Europe in the next couple of years though.

My favourite trip was a Northern hemisphere autumn trip to Sipan Island near Dubrovik with a borrowed wife - the best type.

The best part of that trip was a day at the deserted Do Beach near the abandoned Do Village where there are a dozen or so traditional houses, all furnished, all the cutlery still in drawers etc, you can just wander through these houses, sit in the chairs & make yourself at home, pick some passionfruit growing on trellises, swim at a beautiful beach, complete with a beach tavern, with no staff & no other beachgoers. Just totally abandoned. If the owners of that village are religious then I would just like to take this opportunity to apologise.

That was late September 2017, magical time for all Richmond supporters, and the taxi to the ferry port needed to wait about an hour while I watched the Tigers make Matthew Richardson
