I went for 3rd, mainly because I believe we may start the season a little slow due to a tough draw, but we will steam home with our last 7 games at the MCG, although once again against tough opponents.

I'd say 3rd or 4th though, given a good run with injuries and luck.

Yeah, 3rd or 4th for me aswell. I think the top 4 will be the same as last year, except maybe us ahead of Bulldogs.

top 4 after round 22 should be a shoe in (im guessing 2-3)... anything other than a flag will be a wasted chance... MM is going for the kill... Jolly, Ball and Buckley (yes i see him playing 15-22 games in 2010) are all there for specific reasons and will be playing in vital positions where we are lacking in... id say if we had this trio this year we could have won 2-3 more games and even got through the prelim against geelong...


2010 year of the Collingwood fooball Club... anything less will be considered a failure and wasted season IMO...

I'm actually surprised no one has chosen '1st'. Not to say I think we'll finish numero uno, but I assumed there'd be one fanatic who thinks we will!

I chose 3rd, conservatively, because I still think StK and Geelong are the teams to beat, with the Bulldogs being really close up there too. Hopefully I'm wrong and it's a solid 2nd place finish.

4th.

Our range is 1st-7th.

I would rate Geelong/ St Kilda/ Western Bull Dogs higher still, and with a harder draw I see it unlikely we will place higher than any of the above listed sides.

Adelaide/ Brisbane/ Hawthorn will all be definate top 8 sides at this stage all pushing for top 4 spots this season. Adelaide will probably be our strongest competition of those 3, but with the additions of Ball and Jolly I think we will be hard to knock out of the top 4.

So 4th is probably the most likely finish to season 2010 at this point in time.

We have a very tough draw, so we will have to improve on our 2009 form to finish top 4. I nominated third, but that was more heart ruling head.

Jolly, Ball, Medhurst (improvement) and Reid (coming in and doing really well) as well as natural improvement in our younger guys can get us there.

Top...forget about the tough draw, the pies will be the team to beat this year. I'm usually the same as you guys, thinking top 4 at best, but I really think the time has come, and it's our time to be the best of the best.

Think about it...St. Kilda blew their chance, and have moved on some of the core group. Geelong aren't even training yet, the Dogs are too old now, Barry will be a flop. The Hawks will be ok, but won't get near 2008 form again, they have been worked out. Adelaide aren't ready either. It's the pies for me.

We won 12 of the last 14 h&a games, that's amazing, so with 2 new stars, plus natural improvement, it's time.

Hopefully 3rd or 4th but with the tough draw and competition from Crows Dogs Hawks & Lions I will say 5th. Percentage will be crucial again this year.

seriously get your hand of your pud mate, geelong blew a chance in 08 and regained it in 09 so why cant the saints? geelong well they dont need to train but you will find they are. dogs to slow maybe johnson hall and aker but id have them before alot of our players. hawks just simply better then us and adelaide well maybe par with us no chance top:confused:

Think Dave's right on the dough - 3rd to 6th sounds about right. I voted 5 just anticipating the draw. We play Cats, Saints, Dogs and Hawks all twice. Out of those 8 games we might win 3, which means of the remaining 14, we need to win around 11 probably to go top 4.

I think we are the best team in the comp this year coming forget the draw because to be the best you have to win those games. !st place anything less then 2nd I will be disappointed in
