Where are you seeing Bulldogs emblems?

One of my favorite memories at the football in the last couple of years was at TelstraDome a couple of years ago. I saw a woman in a burka and all the muslim clothes(sorry dont know what they are called) playing kick to kick with her kids. Underneath it all she was wearing a bulldogs jumper!

Dare I ask how you got to see under her clothes Captain?

I was just thinking to myself the other day how many bulldogs stickers on cars I've been seeing lately. My main form of transport is my bike so I tend to notice what's on the cars around me, and it might be just that time of year, but there seems heaps more cars with doggies stickers on them than I've ever seen before.

Have noticed a few more people wearing the caps as well around Newmarket and Flemington.

Was just thinking, 'triple J' used to have contest with who could get the logo on the most visible/broadcasted spot. Perhaps the club could do the same? Fair old challenge. Although a the detective on the news tonight walking into a major inquest at the coroners court would have to be in front.

That is a marvellous Idea. Someone seriously needs to get this across to the marketing department and start selling this idea. Beat the drum for JJJ was a very big success. with people going to extraordinary lengths to get JJJ noticed. I can't see why passionate dog supporters wouldnt do the same thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good stuff tragic

Thanks dogupya, just sent a little email then.

In the Hun last week for 1st day of school, they showed some photos of past now "famous" 1st dayers. One was of Matthew Lloyd and his brother resplendent in their shorts with their Footscray Bulldogs and Fitzroy Lions school bags (couldn't tell who owned which bag).

old fella

Apart from the obvious that is.

For me, I was driving along Beach Road Brighton and saw a flag coming from the roof of a building near the level crossing just south of South Road.

Yes, that railway crossing is the last hand operated one in Vic. One of the operators is a mad keen Doggy supporter, he's always wearing a Bulldogs cap and sticks his flag up.
Every time I drive through that crossing I scream out the window 'Go Doggies'. My girlfriend hates it.

On Sunday, I saw an ad on the back of a semi trailer on the monash freeway outbound, to buy a dogs membership in 2007 with the 1300 go dogs phone number on the back.

There was an article in the paper on this a few months back. The railways worker who is based in that shed is a Bulldogs tragic. David Smorgan drove past and saw it so he stopped to talk to the guy. Something significant came of it (significant enough to make the papers) but I'll be buggered if I can remember what it was.

His name is Tony Ryan and his uncle used to play for us.

Nice guy is Tony, his brother John is one eyed as well.

Pretty sure it was.

It has been many years since I have seen the Ryan's, we were friends a long time ago and I am only doing the uncles name from memory.

If you have the last Melbourne Victory game on tape, have a look at the crowd after the Victory's first goal and you will see a guy in a Dog's jumper in the crowd.

Brilliant! Send the idea in the the club BT!

oops - see you already had a similar suggestion.

In my office I have a framed picture of Chris Grant talking to some kids in the players race at the Whitten Oval . The word LOYALTY is emblazoned underneath. It gets a lot of questions here because nobody knows who he is. In my "David Brent" moments I give a homily to my staff of what loyalty means and the example Chris Grant gave to us.
